- There are a lot of names to this trick such as the stern squirt, the squirt, the pirouette and the whooppie. But if you watch this video you are now only allowed to call it the Tailee from now on.

Watching this almost made me cry man... Miss you so much Bren, RIP
#brenshitz4ever
Excellent instruction video Bren- I finally got it after watching this video and some help from a friend- that was yesterday and my face still hurts from all the smiling! Thank you!!
Great run down of the...tailee... I've been fooling around on the river trying to learn this but haven't had all the pieces of the puzzle until now, thanks! Now let's see the forever pirouette.
Just got a boat with a slicey stern, I’ll be practicing this after work everyday until I get it. Thanks for the vid mang 🤙🤙
Love your stuff, Bren. Most of all I appreciate how stoked you are and always sharing your passion.
Luke Young Thanks for the comment dude, have a great week!
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm going to give this a try this week.
Bren, maybe alongside these technique based videos you could also do a workout/stretching video where you highlight your routine and what exercises you think are crucial etc.
John Smith Awesome idea dude, I will do that for sure!
Good idea.
Gud'ay Brin! 🤣🤣🤣
I really enjoy the Sender videos and especially your stoke for life! Thanks also for the break downs on so many moves. One critical piece to make sure you get in these videos about kayaking.... paddling! Without the paddle, we float (except those wild hand paddlers. Yikes!). Please give greater details on whats happening with the blade: angle, power face vs. backside, arm positions, etc. This was my biggest hurdle in the first year. Everyone talks about the boat, and the edges, and where to look.... all great things. But again if you don't know how to feather a blade, do a bow draw, or even execute a "good" forward stroke, you're no doubt wasting a good bit of energy, and possibly worse: not having fun 😢 Cheers!
Absolutely awesome
Just epic Bren! This made things a lot easier, Thanks guys!
Are Ringheim Thannks for watching dude!
Great stuff! Love the video
I'm just getting into class 4+, I would love to see some instruction on how to scout a river, what to look for, what is a big deal, and what isn't. Also I liked the instruction, would like a couple of slow motion run throughs so we can see what is happening and when.
Thanks for the suggestions dude, I love that idea. Will for sure do a how to scout video!
I love the PBR and Pizza box. Class. Looks like you guys know what's up. 🤣
You guys these vid are awesome I'm lovin them, keep it up dudes😎✌🤞
DanielJones kayak Thanks dude!

Kayakingislife11120 3 Thanks dude, goodluck with it and let me know when you hit one!
Senders yeah I will of to Cardiff for today bro
Got one today at Cardiff dude
R.I.P.
Great Video Bren, Got an ozone a month back, love it. Been trying this and keep tipping to the side after about 60 degree vertical., do you keep the edge on when the stern goes down or level it out?
Love that tank top
Thanks dude!
loving the tutorials, coul you do some on freestyle? again amazing videos
Sol Parrette Thanks dude and yes for sure. What tricks do you want to learn?
The beatering disclaimer! 😂
In New Zealand we call it the Whippy but close enough. My guess is it comes from an ice cream truck that we have called Mr Whippy
1:48 I love a Ripper as much as the next man, but DID THIS MAN JUST STOP HIMSELF SAYING THE WORD 'AXIOM' HALFWAY THROUGH?? 😉
Forreal though, still working to get my tailee down and this vid has helped a lot. Will give you awesome dudes a shout when the trick comes off. 🌊
Jamie Mackay Haha, I was going to say Antix because it's a good kayak but it's also pretty short so you have to be abit quicker on your edge with it. Stoked to see you start nailing your Tailees dude!
Aha, now I feel silly! Can never resist a joke though. Cheers, it's definitely a work in progress but I'm getting there! :D
Congrats on 4k subs
louis epic Thanks dude, gonna do a sick give away when we get to 5k!
Well I've been needing a new paddle😉
Is it the one just below serpents tail near the beach?
Starting to get a bit closer but no where near vertical!!! At what point do you move your arms over your head???
So how do you keep it going????
How about a video on cartwheeling? Sick video, btw.
Thanks dude! I will make a cartwheeling tutorial for sure!
How to freewheel?
To do this trick do you need a boat with Low volume behind to cockpit or can you do it wit a normal river running boat like the pyranah H3.
Oisin Donoghue Yes dude, you want a kayak with a low volume sterna
Watched this again again lol
Was young Bren in an S:6? They need to go back to that meta-lite HDP 862/3. That plastic was bomber. I have the 200, it's my mini ripper
ok watching this i recognized my problem, not pushing with my knees. trying it this weekend
Pulling bro, pulling up with the knees. Goodluck!
@@Senders yea yea pulling
gotta learn this. wondering what your type of boat was, bigger than a playboat which is similar to mine just wanted to know what its term was
This is an original Pyranha Ripper, the new Ripper 2.0 and Fire cracker are in my opinion the best kayaks to learn how to tailiee!
i'm so old I knew it as a rotoendo0 or stern turn.
in new Zealand we call it a whippie, not a whoopie nice vid!
I'm trying this weekend in my Pyranha Ammo. Side question: is the Ammo a discontinued model hard to find Info or ppl with one
Yeah bro, that kayak got replaced a little while back. Still good though!
Hey Bren, big fan of the channel. I was wondering what advice you have for making the transition from the class 3 boater to class 4 and on. Thanks!
Cheers dude, stoked you like the videos! I think the biggest thing is to progress slowly, make sure that you can make all of the hard moves on class 3 and have a bombproof, fast roll and then find someone you trust and try some easily accessible class 4. Goodluck and enjoy it bro!
Where on the Dee Bren?
It’s regular river for me and my mates! 🤙
hellcatjoe Dude, straight opposite the JJ's site, underneath the seal launch rock!
nice video thanks for that, you spelled efficient wrong
Did I miss the video explaining how to pirouette around forever? Since the waters dropped for the year, this (Tailee) is about all I have going on. :-)
Was wondering this aswell
Please do a stopper tricks
TM Kayaking I will for sure as soon as I get to a good hole!
Senders quick question who’s bday ist it today within send
What’s that song at the start of the vidio???
Oisin Donoghue Dj Quads - Soul.

With a slalom ,It is very fun too
6:07😂😂👌👍
How do you do so many spins 😂
Pedro Haha. I'm gonna make another tutorial about that soon!
Me regalaría algo?
Young Bren had an S6! That boat was underrated it is still one of my favourite boats.
Where on the Dee did you learn how to do this
Just underneath the seal launch rock at MEM.
It's still just a stern squirt. Been ripping them since the 80's.
In a squirt boat
Tail drop could be good name
