Good to see you back amd beautiful as always ❤, condolences on your loss.hopefully your devotions will give u some comfort. Great to see the sights, thanks for putting video together,
Welcome back Hannah! This trip was definitely very interesting. lol, even if the guy had one margarita on his head, I’d still be impressed because I know well I can’t do that. It’s always fun when the random drug test either happens at the start or the end of the day, but hey I’ll take the extra pay 😂 Amazing vlog and thank you for bringing us on one of your trips.
Oh yea I definitely could not balance those drinks the way he did. Super impressive! That was my first time getting pulled. I was surprised they did it so late, but I’ll take the extra bit of money
Good to see you back! Sorry for your loss🙏! The long waits because of weather delays totally stink because you have to deal with cranky folks who want off the plane!!! Stay safe in the sky young lady!!! 👍✌✈ 🤠
Sorry to hear about your grandmother 😔 I just visited my grandma in IAH few weeks ago. She’s 89. Glad to see you back. And don’t worry about making vlogs. We still here 😊
Good to see you back Hannah. Some interesting flights and layovers for this vlog. Love to see your down to earth style and showing both the good and bad of travel. The weather has been just awful all over. I feel for all the passengers and crews lately with all these widespread storms. I feel your pain on the random drug test. I was subject to random drug tests in my previous employment and it's almost always right after you pee that you get informed that it's your time. Glad everything came out alright 🤣 (no pun intended of course). Take care, safe travels and see you in the next video.
Yea, it’s thunderstorm season now, so flights will definitely be affected these next few months. Hopefully I’ll be able to get through with only a few mishaps. They really do pull you at the worst times 😂
That’s one thing I try to keep consistent. Some days I’m really good and others I’m not. But it’s a work in progress and hopefully it will be a true daily thing.
Hi Hannah, Great to see you back again. I’m so so sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I will for sure be praying for you and your family during this time. I think I remember you mentioning this in your live video you made during the holidays. Beach trips are amazing. I actually just had mine a couple weeks ago in Destin. I did finally try the pop tart bites and gummy bears on my flights there and back to DFW and XNA. They did do the snack basket since my flight were an hour to and hour and 45 minutes there and back. So good. How do they balance so many drinks on their heads like that? That is crazy. That view tho you showed looked awesome as well. I kinda want to go back to the beach now myself haha. Anyways, good to see you back. Sending prayers for you and your family and can’t wait to see more videos soon 😊!
Drug testing after the flight makes no sense.. sorry you had to deal with that. Great video, thanks, RIP Grandma..I live in Philly, you are right about those crab fries yum..
They do it to make sure we haven’t taken anything on layovers. We are usually pulled after the last leg of the trip, but can be pulled at any time throughout. If you get pulled during the middle of the trip, that’s a good sign someone has reported you. It can be a pain to do it, especially that late at night, but we know it’s always a possibility.
Hannah, Sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻 . They need to bring back meals for free as well as Crew Meals. Raise the fares a tad maybe it'll keep some of the Riff Raff off. Tired of the flying subways 🚇 Al 🛫
Hi, Hannah! Happy late Monday and Happy Memorial Day!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀🌌💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🙏🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🛫💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. First, I'm very sorry about your grandmother.😢. And second, I missed you and...looking beautiful 9:24 with the "Outfit of the Day" routine. Nice!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👍. Also, the party that you went 11:42 was super awesome!🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. Welcome home, Hannah and you finally made it home safely. Cheers!😊😀😙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🍾🎉🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🛫💖💖😊🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍
If you don't have food onboard for hours longer than the scheduled flight, what do you do when a diabetic pax goes into low sugar and you aren't at the gate? Do you have provisions for this or do you declare a medical emergency and get medics out to the plane?
We do have a medical kit on board that can be used in different medical situations. I’ve also been taught to use OJ and add sugar packets to help raise sugar levels. Which we usually have a good amount of that on board. But if we were ever truly out of options then yes we would have to get medics to come and treat the passenger.
It’s too easy and too frequent for the Captain/First Officer to say that they have choppy air. Jets fly above weather and turbulence routes/PIREPS are a way to avoid “chop”. On a 2 hr flight, it’s embarrassing to say that you can’t do a drink service, especially in First/Business Class. I was on a CLT to LAX and we didn’t have a beverage service in Business Class on a 4 hr and 52 minute flight last month. No Pre-departure Beverage service either. That why Net jets is looking better.
That’s simply not true. thunderstorms can often top 40,000 feet, even 50,000 feet in the tropics, and are to be avoided...usually laterally, as to fly over them is often impossible, or even unwise. Clear air turbulence can be forecast but it’s not necessarily particularly accurate a lot of the time, besides aircraft are rarely flight planned to avoid it. Pireps are useful but mostly so you know the quality of the ride ahead which sometimes can be bumpy for hours as it appears to have been on this occasion. Options include trying to find a smooother altitude but areas of clear air turbulence are seldom avoided by changes in direction as their extent can’t be seen like thunderstorms can. If the Captain decided for the drinks service not to be done, it was probably for a very good reason. The latest Singapore Airlines incident shows just how dangerous turbulence can be, particularly with things like bar carts flying around the aeroplane. Safety is somewhat more important than you being able to enjoy your gin and tonic.
@@glennhaley7404 Fair enough. Hard to believe that on a transcontinental flight, a “Captain” couldn’t find a 15 minute window to offer drink service in Business Class, although, I do see flight attendants walking up/down the aisle and standing in the gallery with the curtain half pulled on their cellphones. Maybe, I should book LCC’s and save $$$
There’s been very few times in my career on 2+ hour flights that we weren’t able to find enough smooth air to bring the cart out, but it does happen. I know a lot of people who have been severely injured due to turbulence, so that’s something I don’t mess around with. The pilots are usually getting reports from other aircraft on the same route, so if they are hearing it’s bumpy and to stay seated we just have to follow that even if it may not be as bad as what’s getting reported. 🤷🏼♀️
@@hannahsims3799 You’re absolutely right….It’s seldom happened to me either in almost 25 years of flying between Europe and Asia, but I’ve been flying for a new Company now for 2 years with a lot of US transcontinental stuff and I have to say I’ve encountered the worst, most active and most extensive weather systems in the last 6 months or so in the Mid West than in my whole career elsewhere. Great Channel Hannah. 👍

I wouldn’t be opposed to that on medium/long haul flights. We get asked about food a lot on those. Maybe like a lunch bag or something for main cabin.
Hope your OK nd well safe travels much love from Wales
