Today I'm not sure who I'd cast but It would not be well known actors/ actresses. I could see Shadow Cabinet and Xombi being interesting shows.

Oh you're not alone. Milestone was supposed to make a comeback through Dc Comics this year, but the year is almost up and no one has even mentioned it in DC Comics interviews. Hopefully this gets fixed
I think if you make Hardware an action thriller, I think it’d be more thrilling if he finds out later that the very company he works for is selling his technology or supplying criminals with their weapons. He should stumble on to that towards the end once maybe the other side gets a rebranded prototype weapon he’s been working on. Or maybe he’s trying to take down a mysterious rival company of his that turns out to just be a shell company of Alva.

I guess I'm a bit biased about who the Blood Syndicate are as a whole, having them "covert" from bad to good is a good arch for them. Having Tech-9 switch on Holocaust in order to solidify that change would be cool. Even having a scene with Static dying and Flashback saving him would be awesome. Instead of having her be a crack head she could be hooked on Molly or Percs. So many layers. Good shit bro.

Because if it starts as a possible series on a Amazon, Hulu or Netflix, the exposure could be immense and world-wide. Without the big budget headaches of the big screen. But this sounds great. Especially since most people have those services and would just watch it out of curiosity. You could also tell a long form story and get more out of it. You just can't over load with episodes like Marvel did. Running 13 episodes with only 8 of them being about anything. I could see it working. Especially since the DC Universe app is doing good now. Doom Patrol is on point.
No sweat! His comics, as I remember, were always very slow, but enjoyable. I think Rocket was the biggest draw there since she brought a lot of humor. Icon was there to give you the idea of what its like to be an alien who chooses to be black. It was very ahead of its time.
Those were some of my favorite books then. It was so ahead of its time too. An alien choosing to be a black man during arguably the worst time in history to be a black man. It spoke to me. And Static reminded me so much of myself and my friends. It was just an easy read.
Xombi is one of those I feel people forgot about because every time I'd hear people say its nothing but black characters, and I'd always point to Xombi and Kobalt

Its possible. Salim Akil, the showrunner for BL, has said on many occassions he wants to bring Static over. And with the "Green Light Babies" they've debuted on the show I'd be shocked if that was a reference to anything other than the Dakotaverse "bang babies". I think it could work
I like your idea but I would name drop both Curtis and Alva in the 1st Static movie. Or allow them to be seen in the background. Static would attend some program that either Curtis or Alva establishes.

However, I was disappointed that your suggestions did not include stand-a-lone movies that focus primarily on villains such as Hotstreak or Ebon when considering successful concepts like Joker's movie and Cinemax's Penguin. Villain driven concepts would help with the tone and purpose for heroic cinematic stories.

They need to come out with a Milestone Universe Earth-M encyclopedia so potential fans can see all the bones of the world so we understand all it better. Because if you take a dimension and make it a whole world then one city should become multiple cities with numerous characters, and the kinds of characters should reflect the world so their should be far more diverse characters created. From there having stories from all art mediums for a half a decade to a decade before you drop a film. By the time you get to the film (especially if it is a decade out) you may have multiple tangible encyclopedias/a digital encyclopedia (digital database) on Earth-M. But i'm a huge supporter of Universal Encyclopedias and i would have them for all aspects of a universe if i had one; before the first stories or not to far after them.
Blerd Without Fear definitely a character that’s crossed cultural differences and even generations as he’s still popular. I wish the book survived new 52 it started off strong. But just couldn’t hit the magic of original books or the cartoons

Milestone comics should fully merge with dc comics already to make milestone characters dc properties.Have static come to the young justice or Titans group and have rocket come to the justice league or jsa. The two would make a deadly combo and a serious threat to the mcu.

Technically DC does. Its been long rumored that DC may bring them into the Black Lightning family on CW, but its hard to say. The showrunner for BL has brought it up a lot
Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, Derek Dingle and maybe Dwayne McDuffie's estate own the rights to all of the MIlestone characters. DC licenses (are allowed to use) the characters but they don't own them.

What about the Shadow Cabinet and Xxombi? Those were all very cool Milestone creations? They'd more to Milestone than just their big three. Donner & Blitzen from Shadow Cabinet were this great lesbian couple that were really fun to read. Great background story about those two.

That I could not answer. I don't read Valiant enough to know the characters as well as I'd like, but I can say this much. With Bloodshot coming out in 2020, and a Faith movie in development as well, they better have plans for Shadowman, Ninjak, and X-O Manowar ready to role. Not sure how they'd gel them together, though.
I've recently watched some info about milestone comics on RUclips. Inspired again and wanting to create hopeful a universe, but first I'm developing a story and team of individuals. I'm currently writing episode five, just looking for a partner or someone to work with as far as artist to help me bring my story to life
Honestly the fact that the movies have been hit or miss would make it super easy. People wouldn't see it coming. You could even make it where bringing Superman back the way they did, and Batman listening to Flash from the future in BvS leads to a rift in the Timeline, and instead of it being a dark multiverse (which might go over some general audience heads) you could say these are alternate timelines converging into a dark Justice League all centered around dark versions of Batman. Barbatos could still be the ring leader, maybe even treated like a Thanos level threat that looms over them as the Dark Knights are wreaking havoc. It would be the best thing the DCEU could possibly do... other than a Tower of Babel scenario.
I love the concept of Icon. Isn't he a a republican? A black republican superhero? There's alot of ideological arguments they could bring up. He would be butting heads with Rocket.
Oh definitely. Icon was a conservative brother. Having a movie with him and Rocket would be topical and relevant as hell today. You could do a character study on why he feels that way, and see what helps him realize that maybe things aren't as cut and dry as he used to think. This guy dates all the way back to an alien civilization, and arrived on Earth during slavery. So his perspective is unique as hell
Well, the Blood Syndicate were villains in the comics lol. They became heroes after Holocaust was knocked down a peg. The Dakotaverse wasn't well known for its villains.

Its possible. Salim Akil, the showrunner for BL, has said on many occassions he wants to bring Static over. And with the "Green Light Babies" they've debuted on the show I'd be shocked if that was a reference to anything other than the Dakotaverse "bang babies". I think it could work

I like your idea but I would name drop both Curtis and Alva in the 1st Static movie. Or allow them to be seen in the background. Static would attend some program that either Curtis or Alva establishes.
Too many characters. Thats how you get Batman v Superman trying to introduce too many characters in one movie. You wind up distracting from the main attraction
I think that the Name Blood Syndicate is a little to bold and out dated for the Millennials. So I always loved the Team Name Justice Syndicate!!! Due to the tie end with the Justice League being the Guiding light for the DC Universe. I love your conceptual aspects on how they should come together as a Awesome super hero Team. Thanks for sharing your views on what a Milestone DC cinematic universe should look like! However, I was disappointed that your suggestions did not include stand-a-lone movies that focus primarily on villains such as Hotstreak or Ebon when considering successful concepts like Joker's movie and Cinemax's Penguin. Villain driven concepts would help with the tone and purpose for heroic cinematic stories.
1st movie should be Icon
Icon would make a good first movie, but way fewer people know who he is than Static. Hell, people know who Rocket is more than Icon.

You're really naive if you think for 5 seconds that they didn't make him with Superman in mind. ALL of Milestones characters were inspired by, and in many cases, direct copies of Marvel and DC characters...

They need to come out with a Milestone Universe Earth-M encyclopedia so potential fans can see all the bones of the world so we understand all it better. Because if you take a dimension and make it a whole world then one city should become multiple cities with numerous characters, and the kinds of characters should reflect the world so their should be far more diverse characters created. From there having stories from all art mediums for a half a decade to a decade before you drop a film. By the time you get to the film (especially if it is a decade out) you may have multiple tangible encyclopedias/a digital encyclopedia (digital database) on Earth-M. But i'm a huge supporter of Universal Encyclopedias and i would have them for all aspects of a universe if i had one; before the first stories or not to far after them.

I think Static is easily the best character they ever made. He was so good DC couldn't deny him and had to make him part of their universe.
Blerd Without Fear definitely a character that’s crossed cultural differences and even generations as he’s still popular. I wish the book survived new 52 it started off strong. But just couldn’t hit the magic of original books or the cartoons

Milestone comics should fully merge with dc comics already to make milestone characters dc properties.Have static come to the young justice or Titans group and have rocket come to the justice league or jsa. The two would make a deadly combo and a serious threat to

I would love to know who owns the rights to Milestone. I feel Black Lighting is the perfect universe to bring in the Milestone characters. Icon could be the superman to Black Lighting's Batman.
Technically DC does. Its been long rumored that DC may bring them into the Black Lightning family on CW, but its hard to say. The showrunner for BL has brought it up a lot
Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, Derek Dingle and maybe Dwayne McDuffie's estate own the rights to all of the MIlestone characters. DC licenses (are allowed to use) the characters but they don't own them.

I would like to see Xombi. Love static and hardware but there is so many unrepresented minority ethic group like asian and latino and Milestone can really shed a light on this. And why don't we call it the milestone matrix and they should put all in Dakotaverse
What about the Shadow Cabinet and Xxombi? Those were all very cool Milestone creations? They'd more to Milestone than just their big three. Donner & Blitzen from Shadow Cabinet were this great lesbian couple that were really fun to read. Great background story about those two.

That I could not answer. I don't read Valiant enough to know the characters as well as I'd like, but I can say this much. With Bloodshot coming out in 2020, and a Faith movie in development as well, they better have plans for Shadowman, Ninjak, and X-O Manowar ready to role. Not sure how they'd gel them together, though.

I've recently watched some info about milestone comics on RUclips. Inspired again and wanting to create hopeful a universe, but first I'm developing a story and team of individuals. How would u incorporate Dark Knights Metal into the DCEU?
Honestly the fact that the movies have been hit or miss would make it super easy. People wouldn't see it coming. You could even make it where bringing Superman back the way they did, and Batman listening to Flash from the future in BvS leads to a rift in the Timeline, and instead of it being a dark multiverse (which might go over some general audience heads) you could say these are alternate timelines converging into a dark Justice League all centered around dark versions of Batman. Barbatos could still be the ring leader, maybe even treated like a Thanos level threat that looms over them as the Dark Knights are wreaking havoc. It would be the best thing the DCEU could possibly do... other than a Tower of Babel scenario.
I would do after credits of Hardware watching a video of the Big Bang while suiting up. After the Icon movie?
I love the concept of Icon. Isn't he a a republican? A black republican superhero? There's alot of ideological arguments they could bring up. He would be butting heads with Rocket.
Oh definitely. Icon was a conservative brother. Having a movie with him and Rocket would be topical and relevant as hell today. You could do a character study on why he feels that way, and see what helps him realize that maybe things aren't as cut and dry as he used to think. This guy dates all the way back to an alien civilization, and arrived on Earth during slavery. So his perspective is unique as hell

Well, the Blood Syndicate were villains in the comics lol. They became heroes after Holocaust was knocked down a peg. The Dakotaverse wasn't well known for its villains.
Blerd Without Fear The Syndicate were never villians, Holly is yes which is way he left the gang in issue #2. Milestone wasn’t big on villains? That’s also isn’t true. Dr Nemo was the reason for the Big Bang gas, Icon was stranded on Earth because of Kali’kak & much much more villains come on now.
