    Tutorial was on point - you just saved my life! 💕I went to the salon and did not like the placements of the clip-ins. Decided to take them all out and then realized I had no idea what I was doing😅. Appreciate you!

    I love this tutorial, definitely is a life saver after purchasing clip ins for the first time. I just purchased the body wave foc, and I love how it feels and look. I just was wondering how to put the clips on the hair. I thought it was already on the track of the hair

      Some come with clips attached,& some you have to sew clips on the weft

    I just bought the salt and pepper. Outstanding texture and finish. I just had to clean the salt to make it match my hair. I am definitely going to order another set.
    Thank you Go Sleek❤

    I’m considering going back to clippings. I haven’t worn them in years but I used to swear by them during high school and college. The pros are you can get a very natural looking install. Different textures depending on what your hair is doing at the time i.e. I was natural in high school and relaxed in college and natural post college. I could get different textures of clippings and easily install them. Also, another pro is that you can get many different styles out of your clippings. I usually would get two sets even though I generally would only wear one set. The reason for that is if I do want to have a bigger style I can do that, and I can use it for ponytails, half up, half down, up-dos, Etc. Everything looks very natural. The cons are… Contrary to statements by this channel, clippins can be very damaging even if you’re not sleeping in them. You are taking a small section of hair and you are applying a metal clip that is putting tension on that small section and if you are nickel sensitive like I am meaning that you can’t wear costume jewelry without breaking out then this may cause irritation to the scalp, which is going to further inflame and loose in the hair follicles. One way that I was able to get around this back when I wore clippings a lot was that I would braid a track to each area that I was going to be applying the clip then I would apply the clip through and into the braid doing my best to not really let the metal touch onto my scalp if that makes sense. Also, that keeps the hair from shifting the shifting dragging the metal through and around on the hair is going to cause friction damage. The braid helps to avoid that as well. Applying a braid where you are putting the clip in is essential in my opinion, if you were going to be doing any kind of styling while the clippings are installed. As she’s doing here, putting a curl into the hair, she is putting tension and dragging the root where the clip is installed. In my experience, this is going to eventually in the long-term cause breakage around the root because you basically have a metal razor, dragging on the hair as you are a styling each area. If you don’t have braids, rooting the clip in to the hair, it is better to style the hair completely on you were going to style on a mirror clip or a dresser drawer or wig head… Another con is that although it might only take 510 or 15 minutes depending on what you’re doing with your style, I still feel like it takes me way longer to install my clippings every day than just throwing on a UART wig, or a headband wig or even a lace front (glueless). I have been growing out my natural hair, very healthy for a couple years now and I am looking to wear my hair out more and wear less wigs soon… So I am considering going back to clip in to give me a bit more length and volume. We’ll see how that goes.

      I was concerned as well about the clips attaching to the root and putting tension on the hair. Can you explain how to braid a track to the clip in. I would wear mine for special events

    • @cookiedoughmonstertravels4469
      @cookiedoughmonstertravels4469 5 месяцев назад

      @@Denise-kk2cy there’s two different ways. I do it the first way is for longer installs. You part your hair going across straight the same way she just did let’s say you’re putting in the first track on the bottom… Part it out, then part us, thin line and make a cornbread going straight across. If you’re not good at cornbread, you can do a flat twist. Then you just put the clips into that braid. The second way I do it once again, you part out the area let’s say for the bottom track and then you see where each clip is going to go and then you make a small box braid in each of those places you don’t braid it all the way down to the ends just the root maybe one or 2 inches downthen you clip the hair into each of those box braids repeat the same thing for each track whichever method you’re doing. When you take the clips out at night, your hair is already preset for the next day. You just put the clips right back into the same braided sections, whether it be cornbread or box braids. It makes it easier to reinstall the clips in the morning because you don’t have to part anything out you already know where the hair is going and it’s already prepared.

    I really want to buy the clip in extensions but I don't want to curl the kinky curly because you have to straighten it. I'm a mom and a teacher so my time is limited. Do you sell clip ins that's already straighten like the ones you're wearing. I want to purchase some today.
