Proof of just how good a vocalist Asami is. I knew her vocals were live from the first word. Her breath control is incredible. She said on Twitter that she literally sighed with relief after the last note. Obviously, the studio original is enhanced, especially at the very end, but to hit a note like that after the lions share of six minutes at full pelt never ceases to amaze me.

Thanks for checking out this interview. Yes, even though the instruments were prerecorded, just being able to mime this is insane.

It is obvious the instrumental is from the CD but although can be prerecorded, the vocal is raw without all the make ups in studio. Asami nailed it.

I think it would be really hard to try and play this without actually "playing" it. Matching the timing of the riffs and the wicked fast guitar runs to make it look like they are playing it. Either way, we already know what they can do, so it doesn't even matter. Yeah, Asami really sang it, and she is amazing as always.

@@TheCyberMantis You may be right buddy. I actually don't know. And Yes, Asami nailed it again.

Asami crushed it. Vocals were live and she knocked it out of the park.

Awesome interview!! 🤘🐺🤘As for the song ye its definitely playback with live vocals only, sad that they do this on TV.
Its an opportunity the band couldn't refuse even if they have to fake it, which i think they hated doing lol 😁Thanks GMG!!

From what I have heard the music is from the studio track because you can hear Asami panting and the glass breaking just like the OMV did. Asami’s vocals were the only live mic there, but like you said it doesn’t really matter

I thought Asami's vocals were fantastic in this performance. And as you say, it was great to see the band in this setting, even if the instruments weren't live. The fact Asami's vocals were live means this is quite a keepsake for Lovebites fans!

Asami-san's vocals are still great. I am looking forward to the fall concert, where they will probably play some songs from the Judgment Day album.
By the way, do you remember the 15-year-old girl who appeared in the bass audition video? She too has a bass video on her RUclips channel. "かなで -Kanade-"
Her appearance and plays has become Fami, and I felt how strong Fami's influence is. 😊

Intro or outro make the identity of special song and a unique touch by the writer. Its an abstract art work and it can be anything..just my thinking.😉😄👍

I watch a lot of J Melo. The show is prerecorded. The performances are done just for the show.

Makes no difference in this setting that is wasn't 100% live. Listen to the original - this is too perfect not to be from the album. It doesn't matter. They are obviously playing their parts because it's almost impossible to find when they are off from the audio. It looks perfect.

    • @GlassMoonGaming

I agree! So even their miming techniques are insanely accurate!

  • @LesDexia13
    @LesDexia13 Год назад +1

The musicians are miming to the studio track because J-Melo doesn't have live-music facilities, and this is true for a lot of Japanese TV shows.

@@GlassMoonGaming SCANDAL has been making TV appearances since 2008 and off hand I don't remember many performances that had actually live music, unless it was an acoustic set that could be rigged with simple microphones that are just an extension of the show's existing interview setup. What really sucks doing a fake-electric set is that their crew has to haul all the heavy amps in, and a full drum kit, whereas in a acoustic performance the band can hand-carry their own instruments in, even the Cajon that all Japanese drummers seem to know how to use.

  • @ChadTheDragonLord

Wow - Miyako looks so FIERCE in this interview. Good lord, such a dominant and sexy look for her. They all look amazing of course, especially Fami, but Miyako is on a whole another level.

I was just thrilled they were back. Worried that Miho leaving and with marriages and babies they would breakup!!
I amuse live videos and "in studio" live videos go through post-production processing. Sound clean-up, balance of the instruments and some rerecording, AKA the flubs are "fixed". Doesn't bother me, I want their best product.
The Japanese bands music is THEM, unlike too much of the American bands in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Do you who was The Beach Boys top guitarist? Glen Campbell!!!
