    Victor !!
Everything is extremely different in this world today for me. It is difficult for me to understand this generation.
Protest and riots are happening all over the world, from what I hear and understand.
If people are not protesting one thing, it is another thing.
I think protestors/rioters get confused sometimes themselves about what they are fighting /protesting/rioting about. Most, not all, are young people who have not experienced much about life. I guess goes the saying "you live and you learn".
Peaceful protesters are a thing of our past.
Prices on everything have gone unbelievably high here in the US. All we can do is to pray about our situation, just like you in Kenya, and worldwide. 😊 Keep looking up, things could be worse !!

You should know by now that things are so bad in Kenya that there's hardly a middle class anymore. Why do you think it abnormal that all social classes are concerned about Ruto's leadership capacity. Why are we paying for Ruto's private jets and the lavish lifestyles of politicians? Why should we stand by as the country is mismanaged and looted to the ground?

A little bit of advice for your buddy Vin. He’s digging a bigger hole by telling all the bs which none of us believe. Rather tell him to keep his mouth shut. You’re a wonderful mentor and are trying your best to help him, but he is blackening his own reputation the more he talks. Remember Victor if you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas. We’ve had enough of his bs. Don’t let him bring down your great reputation as well.

Illuminati and Freemasons -IMF are the problem for Africa . Even Raila can’t change the economic situation of Kenya . He has to bow before illuminati and Satan otherwise just like Kennedy will be assassinated unless u follow the rules . Only Lord Jesus and repentance can save Kenya . The borrower is slave to lender . We borrow as a country , so we are slaves to Satan and illuminati. Ruto is a puppet the problem is IMF.

Africa must take control in order to move on. Freedom to demonstrate but efforts to keep behavour under control. Damages and harming people is taking one step forward and two steps backward that often affect mainly the poor.

Thanks for the video. There's so much to say..but I'll start by saying that I'm a Kenyan millennial living abroad - and I am so proud of our youth standing up against injustice! Like you said, these protests are different: the taxes affect ppl from all sectors (pads, cancer care, food...) so we are seeing youth from all sectors; they are using social media to educate and mobilize ppl and livestream police and politicians who think they can get away with what they could in the past - and the old school regime did not see it coming. It is movements like this that change the world.

We have a lot of professional activist and professional demonstrators in the US . they go to college and actually take classes for activism and demonstrations. Some universities are more noted for producing these types of individuals. Not always bad but certainly not always good!! When I see demonstrators out there Destroying property or burning cars or looting that is a type of destructive demonstrations I don’t like. Which sometimes happens in the US. I do believe the right to protest is essential! And if politicians are passing laws and exempting themselves that really is irritating upsetting and promoting themselves a pay raise… Outrageous🎉 one of the first questions I always ask myself is who’s agenda is it and follow the money… Follow the money trail sometimes the people promoting these demonstrations are corrupt and have a corrupted agenda. just remember keep your eyes open ask questions who is behind this stuff. In this case it sounds like they may have a legitimate cause. But I am way over here in Arizona so I don’t really know❤

We are facing exactly the same problem in Nigeria. But most of us learnt lessons from the EndSars protest against police brutality in 2020 after our youths were masaccred.... we have learnt never to be part of any revolution that is not people driven. We read through people’s propaganda and agenda, many of them calling for a revolution against high cost of living and excessive taxation, but we realize it’s mostly elites that are affected and only want to drag the poor into their mess. I advocate that the rich should be taxed so the poor can breathe

Best to follow God's rule of an equal and fair tax rate for all, rich or poor, example, say 7%, or 7 cents on the dollar. (Not forgetting the 10% tithe owed to God). Then rich or poor are equally paying their share. The rich, for obvious reasons would pay more out of pocket, but it's still fair for them and everyone else because all people are paying the same equally fair tax rate.
Also according to God, the government is stealing when they tax someones private property, such as their land and home. So this should be something all people should stand against everywhere. For if you don't pay your property tax the government can take your property away from you for unpaid back taxes, which is them stealing from the people according to the Bible.
So the government, even when you purchase a property outright, you don't really own it completely because the government is still forcing you to 'pay them' for you to keep your property, to do with as you will. The government, in affect has established themselves as your forever landlord. See how criminal they are?

Kenya is facing significant challenges. As someone who has lived here for nearly two years, I can attest to the increasing difficulties. The cost of living is rising, affecting housing, healthcare, and daily life. There may be hidden agendas behind the protests and their organizers, but one thing is certain: Kenyan youth and their families are undoubtedly suffering.

An interesting post. I don't know anything about politics in Kenya, but for example in Senegal, which recently elected a new president after all the demonstrations that claimed many lives, the demonstrations paid off. It looks much brighter right now and people are behind the new president and prime minister who really should be president but he was imprisoned "just in time" before the dominance of presidential candidates. Politicians do not give up power unless they are forced to and that might be the case even in Kenya. The money starts tasting too sweet and so-called democracy becomes just lip talk.
