I used to do a lot of cycling when I was younger and would listen to my tunes. This was on my play list. You can imagine what it was like "spinning" while this was playing. This song is what it means to feel free, living in harmony with the world, being fully alive.
There is sooooooo much early Santana that people are missing out on. I recommend Hope You’re Feeling Better from their second album Abraxas 🔥 or for another instrumental try Samba Pa Ti from that album
One of the all time greats. As a band they had a complete sound of their own, as did Carlos of course. Can't really see why anyone would not like this music! Regards from England. 😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
Carlos, Carlos Carlos! Saw Santana once, on a double bill with Jeff Beck, a great concert, and I think he may have played this song. It sounds familiar. Like you said Craig, you can easily pick out a Carlos Santana solo just by the sound and style. He is amazing and essential to life.
Really enjoyed your reaction to this song. It’s incredible. I highly recommend you listen to the song Transcendence by Santana. Make sure it’s the studio version from his Moonflower album. The Song of the Wind and Transcendence are my top two songs by Santana.
One of my Mount Rushmore songs. Carlos and Neal Schon traded licks and solos back and forth on this. I've listened to this probably a couple hundred times and have no idea who is doing what when. I think Neal is the more frenetic parts while Carlos is more lyrical but that's just a guess.
Loved your reaction here are some to consider Santana has so many great songs No one to depend on, Europa, Samba pa ti , Transendence, Oye Como Va, Black magic woman, Evil ways, Smooth, Maria Maria so many more
Bri, you gotta do Carlos Santana (Devadip) and John (Mahavishnu) McLaughlin's 1972 album "Love Devotion Surrender" album. React to "Ler us go into the house of the Lord"!!!❤
An Ultimate drive song. Through the mountain passes or along the coast…loved it. 🎶😌

A young Neil Schon also plays guitar here.He and the keyboardist Greg Rollie would soon leave to start the band Journey
