3rd Commandment: Sabbath Day

The 3rd Commandment is often reduced to "going to worship". If I go to church on Sunday, I've checked off that box. Maybe God intends a much greater blessing in our lives than we have imagined...

There has been an insidious movement over the past many many decades that have moved us (the Nation) farther away from observing the Sabbath. When I was a wee boy, no business was open on Sunday save for gas stations to aid travelers in their journey. Today, it's almost unheard of for ANY business to close its doors on Sunday. The two big exceptions being Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby - both of which have been denigrated for their "beliefs" (usually having something to do with "LGB" propaganda). Very sad.
