I found their chemistry really good but they rushed things in to season 5 to get rid of it so they could start the spin off besides it was not out characters, they both lived almost a decade without seeing each other of course they could not be as closed as Hayley and Hope were. Young Hope had less chemistry with Hayley than teen Hope. However, i think i heard Joseph on a pannel saying he had easier relationship with kids maybe that's why too
Because they don't have that kind of bond lol. They let Klaus died when Hope just got him back.
Season 4 was too short.
They went without each other for so long and their reunions were always in the midst of danger and violence. Hard to see Daddy the same when it seems the universe can't give your family a break.
One of the things I find hilarious about this scene is not just how many different types of pastries Klaus got, but the sheer amounts of them. As if anybody in the world could consume that many in one sitting, let alone a 7-year old lol
I love how after all the horrible things Klaus has done, in the originals as well as the vampire diaries, he is still the perfect father. So sweet and loving with his daughter
