    I have a female friend at work with some severe hormone and digestive issues. Ive been carnivore myself for a while and theorized this would be good for her, but finally a short video that confirms this. Liked, subbed, and shared.

    I eat 🍖 meat heavy 🥩 and although I kept on hearing how important eating the animal fat is, it didn't quite click for me in how important it is for women in helping us balance our hormones. So thank you!

      Sorry for late response :)! Yes fat is essential for women, I don't know why we get told to eat low fat! Glad you are now eating plenty of animal fats!!

    I was vegetarian for a year, felt great and was able to maintain my weight. In the last 4 months, my sleep has been horrible, I gained 15lbs and feel so sluggish all the sudden. I have started to reintroduce beef and fish again.

      Sounds like what most ppl experiences: you have a honeymoon period and after that things start to fall apart. Glad to hear you are reintroducing animal products.

      I did the same after being vegetarian/vegan for 12 years 🥹 Definitely a noticeable improvement though.

    my only concern is with the week before the period starts . we're told to eat sweet potatoes and foods that support progesterone, that we don't want to spike cortisol, don't want to be in ketosis, that we have to do things differently from men. what are your thoughts on this? trying to get to the bottom of this

    • @StayFitness
      @StayFitness  Год назад +1

      I have heard about this before, I am pretty sure I was keto/carnivore when I got pregnant lol. So I don't really have a definitive answer, rather than do what works for you. I guess this is where intuitive eating comes into play.

      Ooh thank you!!! I'm glad you found this video useful! Coffee it's a 50/50 for me, it depends on the person, how much you get affected ect. I deffo don't recommend having coffe on empty stomach as it spikes stress hormones.

    What is your opinion regarding Intermittent Fasting for women?

    • @StayFitness
      @StayFitness  2 года назад +3

      It depends on the situation, I think eating within a 10-12 hour window it's great for anyone, if we are talking about longer fasts then it depends on hormonal health. If you are already stressed out, adding fasting on top of that could be even more damaging. Listening to your body is key, if in the morning you are not hungry it's ok to eat later but don't pump yourself with coffe just to get through the morning. Basically it's complicated lol

  • @Joshtheloserking

    restricting calories is fine so long as you get sufficient nutrients.

    • @StayFitness
      @StayFitness  Год назад +3

      It's fine unless is hurting your hormones, which happens quite easily if you are in a constant deficit for prolonged periods of time or you yoyo diet too much.

      If you eat plenty of animal protein and fat its impossible to overeat because your body will be satiated and not crave more food.

      @@StayFitness Hey ciao grazie per la risposta!ti volevo chiedere anche io ho iniziato tempo fa la dieta vegana e mi ha portato a stare male ad iniziare a soffrire di colon irritabile (pancia gonfia, stipsi ecc..) te ne sei uscita con la carnivore? Ma hai fatto anche test per disbiosi intestinale?uso di probiotici? O robe similia io sono un anno e mezzo che sto male e non riesco a venirne fuori..e un altra cosa come e da dove riesci ad assumere la quantità giusta di grassi?? :)

      @@gansho io sono riuscita a curare tutti i miei problemi intestinali con la dieta carnivora in poco tempo. Riguardo i test, gli ho fatti tanti anni fa ma non recentemente. Questione grassi, non so, sono andata un po' intuizione senza stressarmi troppo. Penso la cosa migliore sia provare e avere pazienza.
