This is a full and highly detailed overview and breakdown of the new Guarder lightweight aluminum hi-capa frame for hi-capa airsoft pistols.
This frame closely replicates the Tokyo Marui stock hi-capa frame, in 5.1, 4.3, and Gold Match variations, in both black and silver, and is an interesting option for people who are looking for a budget lightweight build or a ground-up build without a base hi-capa.

Just bought one and have to say I’m impressed it’s a great players frame something I can beat to death and not be bothered by wear.thank you for your in-depth video on this it definitely help sway my decision as I generally stay away from Guarder.
nice video my man, interesting frame 👀👀
Very informative and detailed. Thank you, I think I'm going to buy one.
Greetings from germany✌🏻
TOP TOP TOP You explained it very detailed, I just had to run to subscrive you ahahaah Cheers from Portugal!
Awesome vid. I think I have to buy one for my dor
Man thanks a ton for this video. I'm building a hicapa on a cheap Army Armament gun that I bought purely for its slide. There is a ton of slide-to-frame slop in all directions, so I'm hoping a Guarder frame would help fill the gaps. Good to hear it's more on the tighter side than looser so I think I'll try one out since they're pretty cheap to get like you mentioned.
Love the content and videos... Keep it up man.
I'm actually looking for an aftermarket frame, but I want to colour match to certain builds which means getting them professionally painted so these may be a good idea
If you want a colored one then go for one of the nicer AM or GSB frames anodized to the color you want. They're really want you want for "nice" builds. These Guarder frames are interesting but they're very much intended for budget builds.
love the video man, I realy like working with most guarder stuff. Some of their stuff is poop, but for the most part i really really like all of their internals and slides. Will deffs give one of these a go :)
Haha yeah I'm not sure how much I'd say I "like" their stuff, but people saying blanket to never use any of their products goes too far.
The only unfortunate thing is that they're just not daring or creative; if they made things that were a bit more new and interesting instead of a lot of things that are just replacements for stock parts, they'd have a better lineup and more interest I think.
@@GaosenKinetics haha over exaggerating a bit but their glock and capa hammer bits are my go to for any build. The new tm dor hammer bits actually look like theyve taken a note out of guarders book as well like theyve sorta copied the guarder shape.
You are a lifesaver man, I'm about to pull the trigger on this frame on my 4.3.
Trying to get a lightweight build and wanted a review of it and how to build it.
Any update on how it holds out?
lowkey underrated video on something promising
so far, I've tried out a replacement WE/KYAirsoft 4.3 slide and some random "MST2011" gelball midframe
The WE replacement (WE Hi-Capa 5.1 Part# 036) is straight up horrible, and the MST2011(when available) was marginally better than the WE in terms of tolerances at the front rails
I really hope Guarder does better
Got one today no fitment and for £40 I'm extremely happy with it so far 👌🏼
Great video man and hell of a in depth explination of how fitment and compatibility is a HUGE factor in airsoft. My only gripe......were still using the TM as a base.
For sure not your fault at all......just figured by now in airsoft we would have moved past that "TM magic" that history had loved so much. Alot of other brands out there need there day in the sun as well.
And yes I know there modeled off a TM. But there has been some innovation that hasn't caught on yet. Much love from 21001. And only time will tell if the "masses" start to rise up and change the "system" . (History loves repeating itself......cough cough......"Systema")
Yeah, the original TM 5.1 is an old design indeed, but it works and the improvements in most areas aren't enough for a lot of people to drop the platform and lose the aftermarket backlog. In time perhaps. I suspect there may be more movement if/when TM releases another DOR spec hi-capa.
To be fair though, hi-capas are still pretty much the best pistols out there. Newer TM guns like the FNX-45 are a stepup in certain areas, but at the core, the Hi-Capa still performs just as great if not better.
I’m a little curious at 19:00 CowCow came out with a enhanced inner chassis. Would fitment be better??
What about the 9ball frame? It does not come with the knocker box and side plate though.
if my base gun is 4.3, then I use a 5.1 upper slide, do I need to change the outer and inner barrel?
21:53 I got the silver one and have the same inner case screw problem as yours. I think we got the same batch of these guarder lemons😢. Wonder how do you fix with that hole?
In my case I basically just used another screw and it went in, the factory TM screw which seemed to perhaps have a better temper and could force it's way through, and ended up being a bit tight. IMO just source a few screws and it should work out.
Links to buy?
On Aliexpress there's a hammer set kit that includes the inner frame but made of steel, the whole kit it's made of steel
