Here I'll be taking a look at the latest info on the VFC FAL Deluxe Version, the price, what it includes, and some considerations to take in mind when comparing with the "Standard" version, which has been very successful.

Some important corrections!
I've now confirmed that the DX will have a one-piece steel outer barrel! I was specifically discussing the two-piece outer barrel of the standard with the VFC reps, and asked if the inner portion would be steel for this; in that conversation they confirmed that it would be all steel for the barrel, but not that it would be one piece! This is a fairly important difference in value, so worth considering.
01:35 Here's the big and embarrassing mistake; the part I'm pointing to here is the lower part of the receiver (which houses the fire control group) which is steel even in the standard version! What's additionally steel in the DX version is the upper half of the receiver (with the magazine well and the internal rails on which the bolt travels), which is instead zinc in the standard version. This will be full steel CNC in the DX. I mixed myself up with which part is which material on an FAL after spending all day looking at different ARs.
01:20 Note I misspoke, Asia price for the Standard version is a bit under 600 USD, I was earlier discussing the effective shipped cost with some US/UK based players and mixed them up in my mind.

The Base version FAL is already pretty well made but its nice piece of mind that they have a premium version. I don't have space for the box though.
there's a market for steel airsoft gbbrs. i wish the VFC PSG-1 was a couple hundred $ more and had better parts particularly a real walnut pistol grip
I hope VFC will make a Galil /R4 rifle someday.
On the DX version, does the buttstock have the rubber piec, or is it still plastic?

I don't know why those are even there, since the VFC reps take them down and give them to people to handle etc. Also I have a press pass and typically can handle anything at MOA; they're actually basically there to be touched haha.
Chinese translation actually roughly translates to "Don't touch without permission", with small text saying go find a staff if you wanna play with one or something, too tiny to make out all of them.
Hi, have you heard any updates on release date?
I don’t see it selling as well as the standard Fal, I don’t see how it’s worth close to twice the price when there’s minimal differences that don’t really fix any major functional issues.
I think when the Fal was first announced like 2-3 years ago, the rough guesstimate for the DX was like 800-950 ish. Granted that was before all the stupid inflation/shortages.
Though I do hope future standard versions come with trade marks
The price for the DX was actually fixed long ago and the guesstimates were never correct; they had distributed pricing for the DX to dealers before the standard version even went on sale.
But yes this is, more than some other older VFC DX versions which add things like steel bolts or have forged receivers, truly a "Deluxe" version which is a lot of nice-but-not-necessary features. It definitely won't sell as well as the standard but also it was always intended to be a limited edition and not have high numbers.
