Beatrix throwing a tantrum like a toddler over academic backgrounds and the wedding SHE ruined it herself was so petty, honestly her personality's just straight up sad
Narcissism, Arrogance, Inflated-Ego; I am almost willing to bet she has been this way her entire life and never got punished for it. Now that it finally blows up in her face, she cannot handle it. Hence why - the moment she was challenged about being able to pay for the wedding - she immediately stopped for a minute to focus on that. She lives in a diluted world where she genuinely believes she is better than everyone else - including her fellow graduates to bet - and that the world exists to kiss her feet. IF they don't, she throws a tantrum. So when her arrogance shows and she acts without knowing full information, she blames the person for not telling her the remaining information; as if it was their sole duty to make sure SHE never looks bad at all. This level of Anti-Social-Personality Disorder via Narcissism and Egomania is just expected though. If she can go to bloody Harvard and pay for it - she grew up absolutely privilidged and blessed with a million opportunities. The life of being the daughter to an elite. Or surrounding herself with Elitists in Harvard. Though, I suppose one guess to have here, is that she got lucky to go to Harvard and was outcaste for it. That literally her university life was absolute hell cause she was the black sheep among the social elite that did not belong among their social standing. So her university degree was literally all she had to rely on and clung to it out of self-defense measures. Which in turn turned her into an ego-maniac because she made it her entire identity with nothing else of equal value to show for it.
I don't understand why some people still make such a big deal about educational backgrounds. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Beatrix was lying about her own educational background.
