Anyone else imagine Diana's parents and Victor hopping in place like athletes and boxers do before a game/match while talking about taking down Marissa?
Once again, I would really enjoy these stories more if the writers did some research. Eviction is MUCH more complicated than just telling someone to leave. Victor could have been sued for quite a bit of money for his actions.
He could not be sued at all, the company might have been but it depends on the contract. If it is owned by the company, and the agreement was with his father or there was no agreement, the company could not have been sued for any amount, as she was squatting. Immediate eviction is well within his right.
@@TheBaumcm oh he could even if she was technically squatting, there’s something called Squatters right. You can’t just kick a long term tenant out of the house.
now that ive listened to more: Its company property and she is no longer an employee. Since he is firing for cause, she is required to leave company property immediatly. this is the one story where immediate removal might be legit. But yes you are right they do this in every story and its usually wildly illegal.
@@Gopherzooka Some of that depends on where you live, since tenant rights are a state issue, but if you want someone to leave, and they refuse to, you still have to take certain legal steps. You are right, if the residency was based on employment, that might vary some, depending on the employment contract.
I remember my potential MIL trying to do that kind o crap. What she did not realize was that I came from an old Southern family with a history of kindness to their former slaves, who rescued the silverware and the carriage horses. The rest was burnt.

A single tire for a modern tractor can be over 100k. Don't mock farmers for manual labor.... Those MFs are tough as nails and can be just as wealthy as a doctor.
The fact is that almost EVERYTHING needed to farm is very expensive, with no guarantee of a payday at the end of the season! It's also why it's so hard to get in to farming.....it all costs SO much!
@@wendymonkelien-brown579 exactly that's why it's becoming a lost "trade" for lack of a better word. It's getting to the point that the only ones that can do it, because of cost, are corporations. Especially when you consider manufacturers of the equipment are putting proprietary legalize on every aspect of the equipment and require THEIR techs to fix anything.
I live in a rural county in lower Alabama. As of 2020 there were less than 27,000 people in the whole county. Lots of farms, fields and cattle in the pastures. If it weren't for farmers alot of folks would starve.
I have always fought tooth and nail for the family farmer . Big corporate farms like Monsanto is killing people with GMOs . But I defend the family farmer .
The solution of this story made no sense. Op didn't need her parents to cancel the contract with her husband's company. He already owned his company and had the authority to fire his mother. It served no purpose to cancel contracts.
Sounds like, while he owned the company on paper, no one really listened to him and they all deferred to his mom. Once the company took a major loss due to mom's behavior, he could use that fact to take control. "You let her run things, see what happened?"
My family has a small place where they grow our own vegetables and has a few fruit trees,it wasn't big, but it a huge to maintain it,so big respect to those whose maintain bigger and smaller fields and that includes farmers.:)
Potatoes are so yummy and extremely versatile. There's so many ways to cook them. I grew up on ranches raising beef cattle. I'm an old lady now, but a nice steak with a big old Idaho baked potato is still my favorite meal.
Does this woman think their supplies magically pops out of thin air? If farmers went in strike most of us would die of starvation long before WE could grow anything worth eating.

As interesting as this sounds, you cannot out some of the board of a company without compensation. A contract cannot be broken just like that, there are penalties. Also, the IRS is going to have a talk with him about using a domestic property (house) as a company asset and then liquidate it without share the revenue with the shareholders

1. Farmers grow our food, without which we would all starve.
2. Farming is very hard work, and we should respect those who labor for their income.
Farmers are live!! We get the food from them. Screw that mother in law for looking down at people like farmers!!
If she treated her more decently she would’ve still been their supplier for their company but that’s Marissa’s fault not hers
Who even makes fun of farmers like this? I grow vegetables myself and no one's ever said anything beyond 'they look delicious'.
My man Victor's a straight keeper

Farmers daughter had a remarkable lot of restrain, I'm not sure what I would have done to mil. F.D. got her good in the end. She was lucky to have such a supporting hubby and not a sniveling mama's boy.
I'm glad I get a third apple text every day. Makes me smile
So we did get 3? I just got the notification for the 3 one
Different channel.
Moral of the video: Never bite the hand that feeds you.
I grew up in a small farm town i learned quickly you don’t mess with the farmers
Who in their right mind thinks they can put a raw potato on somebody's plate and then demand they eat it this shows a big chunk of her brain is missing, I can't believe no one threw the potato at her and everyone else just sat there and let her act like that it's insane. If she ever had any conversations with her daughter-in-law she would have known she was educated
She didn’t. It was to humiliate her.
While I personally love raw potato slices dipped in tajin seasoning if someone did this to me at a party to look down on me(gardener/lots of family who are farmers) or farmers would have had me pick up that raw potato and have it chucked at her head.
*Sees fancy new transition screen*
AH! THE 90S!
Ok seriously though it's pretty cool. And why do people not know that modern farmers are typically large-scale operations? Maybe it's because I live in Farmville but have you ever seen a combine? A thresher? Any of that? Do you have ANY idea how much that crap costs?!
My mom was raised on a farm with her brothers that are farmers, my step father is a farmer. They raised cattle and pigs and planted vegetables, plant wheat, soy beans, feed for cattle, bail hay. I was partly raised on a farm during the summer, I help my uncle's out on their farm and ranch, with the livestock and garden, feeding the chickens, work in the fields. It's alot of work but it's worth every bit of it and alot of fresh country air.
this husband is a gem
For everything I perceive as food, I try to imagine all of the steps to get that food from the initial planting or animal birth all the way to it sitting on my plate ready to eat. I appreciate every single person involved in those steps for their hard work and dedication. Even that fast food worker who just builds burgers is still part of the pipeline from farm to table. Please respect anyone who works in or is involved with the food industry. It's hard work, but somebody has to do it.
Farmers and dairy families are the the best people in the world because we're try our best to feed people not politicians they just take money they don't WORK FOR
How does she not know what her DIL's maiden name is? Or what the business relationship is? This takes being oblivious to a whole new level.
I think she knew the maiden name. She doesn't pay attention, especially since she doesn't really do anything with the family business she married into.
I am hoity toity because I married into a tv dinner family lmao.
I'm thankful to all the farmers, they are the reason for our healthy growth. They know nature and nature is life for all of us. The hard work of the farmers led us to have long lives. I'm very grateful to them.😌
If that was my mil, I would have told her what I thought no holds barred!!😠
I admire farmers, they work so hard to provide us with food. They work 24/7 everyday of the week, even on holidays.
I would go bonkers with these MIL's I was an airline pilot and I assured you I put on my trousers one leg at a time the same as everyone else. Status is a state of mind if you have nothing else to fill your brain with then status might matter. But in reality it matters nothing. Be kind and generous and helpful and you will have a better life.
And this, my internet brothers and sisters, is why you never talk down to someone. What if they are your boss? What if they are far richer then you think? What if, like the story, they help your business? Great others how you want to be treated, even if they aren’t as fortunate as you.
Anyone else imagine Diana's parents and Victor hopping in place like athletes and boxers do before a game/match while talking about taking down Marissa?
I guess you could say the MIL was "Dropped like a sack of potatoes." Eh? Ehhhhh?
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The son is more worried for about his PIL than his own mom lol
Once again, I would really enjoy these stories more if the writers did some research. Eviction is MUCH more complicated than just telling someone to leave. Victor could have been sued for quite a bit of money for his actions.
He could not be sued at all, the company might have been but it depends on the contract. If it is owned by the company, and the agreement was with his father or there was no agreement, the company could not have been sued for any amount, as she was squatting. Immediate eviction is well within his right.
@@TheBaumcm oh he could even if she was technically squatting, there’s something called Squatters right. You can’t just kick a long term tenant out of the house.
now that ive listened to more:
Its company property and she is no longer an employee.
Tell me she got a taste of karma for that little stunt!
I was waiting for the dil to chime in with " oh btw i am pregnant with twins" just to rub salt and lemon/lime juice in the wound tbh
I personally think the machines they have are so cool. I don't mind driving behind them, specially the combines.
I don't get it. Why would they let it go on this long without calling out his mom for being such a rotten person? The first time she talked badly to the wife, he should have shut her down and not let it go on for so long.
I love how the rich look down on farmers because it's manual labor... They don't realize that the cost of farmers equipment is freaking astronomical.
Many are millionaires on paper, but to benefit from it would have to sell their farms & equipment & therefore, their livelihood. It's also why it's so hard to get in to farming.....it all costs SO much!
@@wendymonkelien-brown579 exactly that's why it's becoming a lost "trade" for lack of a better word. It's getting to the point that the only ones that can do it, because of cost, are corporations. They are the only ones that can keep up with the cost of and maintenance of the equipment. Especially when you consider manufacturers of the equipment are putting proprietary legalize on every aspect of the equipment and require THEIR techs to fix anything.
Hi new to your Channel love your videos keep up the good work
I live in a rural county in lower Alabama.
I cant stop laughing so hard when I heard miss potato head lololol I cant stop laughing so hard help me please
Outstanding post ty....
The solution of this story made no sense. Op didn't need her parents to cancel the contract with her husband's company. He already owned his company and had the authority to fire his mother. It served no purpose to cancel contracts.
Well, it sounds like the husband was in full approval of it, and he also said he didn't care if the company burned down.
Sounds like, while he owned the company on paper, no one really listened to him and they all deferred to his mom.
Once the company took a major loss due to mom's behavior, he could use that fact to take control. "You let her run things, see what happened?"
And the "ABSOLUTELY BEST HUSBAND IN THE GALAXY" AWARD goes to......
VICTOR!!!!!!!!!
He deserves that and MORE!!!!!!!!
I agree with what the people say about farmers, but can we appreciate Victor? 😌
Lol. Damn! He must have really hated his mother.
My family has a small place where they grow our own vegetables and has a few fruit trees,it wasn't big, but it a huge to maintain it,so big respect to those whose maintain bigger and smaller fields and that includes farmers.:)
My biggest problem with mil, after her attitude, is that she could live without potatoes. Just no. And victor is awesome.
Thank you farmers!
Its like saying "why go hunting animals in the woods, go buy meat at the store because that doesnt hurt any animals"
Everytime I listen to this story, I start craving scalloped potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, Shepard’s pie, and more with all the potato talk.
Potatoes are so yummy and extremely versatile. There's so many ways to cook them. I grew up on ranches raising beef cattle. I'm an old lady now, but a nice steak with a big old Idaho baked potato is still my favorite meal.
Technically, if this was in the U.S there would have to be an eviction process to remove the mom.
Does this woman think their supplies magically pops out of thin air? If farmers went in strike most of us would die of starvation long before WE could grow anything worth eating.
Pretty dang sure potatoes HAVE to be cooked in some way because they're dangerous raw. I have to admit that I was rooting for the DIL to hit her with that potato, but yeah, have to agree that it'd be a waste of potato. Also? Even if you mostly eat meat, your meat probably eats something grown on a farm. We all depend on farms.
been waiting all day for this!!!! thank you!!!!!
If it wasn’t for farmers we all will starve!! Thank you farmers! 🦾❤️🙏🏽
As interesting as this sounds, you cannot out some of the board of a company without compensation. A contract cannot be broken just like that, there are penalties. This is like 3 different lawsuits piled up. Also, the IRS is going to have a talk with him about using a domestic property (house) as a company asset and then liquidate it without share the revenue with the shareholders
I'd rather marry a farmer!! They have brains...Hahahahahahahahahaha
I'd also arrive at the dinner in overalls and rubber boots with cow pooh on them!!!
My family are dairy farmers!!
This is one of the more comical stories! Love it. :)
I was very lucky that my MIL, daughter of 3 generation German farmer's. The family farm, with 5 brothers running it , sold out to developers as the towns were not adhering to farm tax rates. They tried to sue all the farmers into paying for the infrastructure. The developers and city's lost. Million upon million of acres of prime farm land made into mcmansion. UGGGG. I really never realized how hard farming is and the tech associated modern farms. Hard working people. Smart people. But most live in levies, T shirts and Carhartt. Clothes made to feel comfortable in and last year's. City life does not impress most of them. This story proves it
In the Swedish dub of Young Justice, they used a Swedish word for farmer as a translation for the English word 'peasant'.
I would love introducing farmers to other ways of making money to keep their incomes flowing even if their crops fail.
How sweet and thoughtful of you?
@@patrikbengtsson3883 he's got a point though. As controversial as they are, most of the farmers were I live like the windmills on their land. It provides a bit of a cushion for the years that things don't go well ...
It sounds like mom didn't take any active role in the business but acted like she did everything.
I can’t imagine this conversation actually happening!
Okay, all of us who like potato chips whether store bought or homemade, it all comes down to a good and bountiful potato crop. That goes for all farmers, ranchers, and those who go out on boats to catch fish and seafood. Thanks and respect to you all.
The modern equivalent of a son saying "bite me".
Yay! Great story and ending 😊
At least the husband stood up for his wife. That doesn't happen very often in these.
Growing up in a rural area and working on farms helped me to build character. I'd like to see how that MIL does when the supermarket shelves are empty.
" of course i step in; i'm your husband " i would like it to be more frequent in these stories
Wow, the stories of this one are way jucier! Good job!
I love a happy ending ❤
Technoblade would be disappointed in Marissa.
Looking down on farmers with a mouthful of food , total weasels
Thank god for a story with a GOOD husband
Mother got Karma
That MIL got pimp slapped by karma.
And we all know what karma is 😹
@@seanvanderstruys5196 yes
What a dreary, dragged out "conversation." Farmers are essential, and it's one of the most honorable professions in the world. THE END.
A lot of people (mostly urban) that don't know any better think that any moronic rube can stick a few seeds in the dirt and be a farmer.
Why do people seem to forget about truckers as well?!? My dad was a trucker for 40+ years and I appreciate him and all truckers, farmers, sanitation workers and the working person period!
please anyone who need financial assistance can dm me
you shouldn't look down on the cashier working at 7/11 either. WTF is wrong with people?
i dont understand why he didnt kick her out, or stop the rest of the family form the beginning... but i guess there wouldnt be a story.
If it wasn't for farmers u wouldn't have food on your table cuz u know city folks can't do crap
Hey from denmark
Hello from the UK, and the other Apple channel!
Who in their wrong mind would look down on the backbone of our tables, those who fill our plates, bowls, bellies and ovens with delicious, nutritious food and ingredients for food? Farmers! We salute you!
supportive husband for the win!!!
