LOVE this beautiful woman. The very fact she can explain it so simply is proof that life is not complicated and full of unnecessary stress, but of pure joy and love in abundance.

This is a remarkable meditation that needs no learning so is perfect for non meditators and beginners. It is without effort or technique. I've used it daily for about two months, not out of discipline but because it is so restorative that I wouldn't want to miss it.

WOW!!! I really like the way this young lady presented and explained this. My wife and i see and understand things very differently and this was done so that we both not only understood but enjoyed it. Truly impressed with this short video explanation.

    This is very informative -
I have severe chronic anxiety (GAD)
It is relentless - soul destroying - I am destroying my brain with benzodiazepines - memory is destroyed -
The tiger is alway in my head 😱

So yoga nidra is basically meditation. What she just described is" exactly" meditation and trance state. A trance is an altered state of consciousness which is a very deep meditation. This all links up with astral projection lucid dreaming etc etc... if anyone has a different view please do tell me...

Meditation is just about being aware, when you are the witness of experience, no matter how blissful they are. Everything else, all meditation "techniques" are fingers pointing to moon, but not the moon itself.

They are different and do different things, there are definitely similarities but I recommend you not to dismiss this practice because you can justify not doing it by doing just meditation

"It's said that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restoritive as 3 hours of sleep." - it's also said that anything starting with "it's said..." is probably bs.
