We could only dream about such wizardry at the time (1985). 😁👍

Problem with this wizardry is that it requires an external EEPROM programmer. It would have be nice to be able to program it directly on the C64 or better yet through a USB cable. ;)

Nice one. 😍 I'd also love to hear more about the ZX Spectrum print shown in the intro at 1:31 It looks like something I'd love to build.

Have fun with the move and keep the good stuff coming. Also don't throw away that any of that retro stuff you think isn't useful enough. It will be in another decade!

Good luck with the move, I dread moving my collection and I still have stuff in boxes from the last time.
The Versa64 is quite good, but I do have a very number of cartridges (old and modern) so it's not something I would need.

You might also need to use a jumper when the temperature is low.

I wish there was a tutorial on how to write a game into a cartridge straight from the C64

I wonder if there'll be a version for larger cartridges. The only cartridge game I ever owned(Robocop 2, which is also the only C64 game I owned that could use a 2 button joystick, or Master System controller) was 640kb(six hundred and forty kilobytes, like on the football scores when a team scores more than 5 goals, to ensure it isn't a typing error) in size.

With all this sort of thing being available all I need is someone to work out how to transfer Last Ninja 3 and Turbocharge from disk/tape into a working cart format like we were always promised back in the day by System 3 but were never actually released, I loved Ninja Remix on cart why we never received these two games on cart despite the ads always disappointed me.

Am corious how 64KB cassette games and disks were (manually) converted into cartride format and vice versa, but i can imagine that it would require manual tweaking and adjustments.

It would've been nice to see a mix of 8K and 16K ROMs demonstrated.

It can be configured with the dip/jumper switches. However, you also have to be mindful of the binary layout of the 8/16K banks, as there are some restrictions.
