WOW . . XCLNT VIDEO . . . So If you did this in less than 5 minutes for 1 side then I suspect it should take me .... maybe 45 minutes for just 1 side ??? ( LOL ) . . . I don't have a lift "and" I dn't have air tools . . . HOWEVER you did show the lil secrets . . NOW I am off to work on my 2007 Toy Corolla . .. Wish me luck . . MANY THNX & Much appreciation . . . BTW . . I just watched your other video related to rear strut removal & installation . . .
Great video and great production quality. Clear, quick and no fluff. If you live in the salt belt, hose your hardware down prior to the repair. A day ahead if you can. Usually inspect, spray it all down and then order parts. Makes disassembly easier in those areas. Excellent video and solid work
Quick question for ya. I just bought some sport shocks. They came in and I gave it a little go and pressed on it before installing the springs on it. What I noticed was that one took significantly longer to come back out all the way. They were not matching in compression/rebound. How do I evaluate this type of situation? What would you do if you bought two front shocks from a reputable performance brand and they would most likely be lopsided in performance?
Thanks so much for this! The video makes this look like such a quick job, too. What would you say is a realistic time commitment for doing one of these at home?
If you’re struggling with getting the sway bar link unstuck, make sure both of your front tires are lifted, because all of your weight is on one tire/swaybar
The nut on the top of my sway bar link spins with locking pliers on the sway bar link and using the impact gun and doesn't come off. Edit. I first did pb blaster and still didnt come off. Used the heat gun and applied heat for a minute and it came off!
Actually you don't need an alignment after replacing struts on that car. The only adjustment is front toe. No camber or caster So changing out struts won't affect the toe setting.

Love how short it was yet more informative than most.
Thanks! Just paid "around" $350 for all 4 TRQ struts/ shocks. Mechanic's estimate was over $1200.
GREAT video! It's easy to understand, short and to the point yet informative with no long winded explanation or awful background music!
Perfect timing on this, I need to change the struts on my commuter Corolla. Thank you!
This is a very informative and well put together video! Thanks! Great camera angles to see everything

Awesome, just did mine with my oil change. 113ftlb almost got me as a petit woman at the end of a very long week though! 😆

Thanks for posting this super informative video!
hi.i recently purchased a 2005 toyota corolla your videos are very helpful.are you in canada
How accurate do you really need to be with torque? If I just impact everything down what’s the worst that would happen?

The sway bar link on mine will not go back in. It doesn’t align
Torquing on final wheel install - torqued 3 adjacent lower lugs first and left the top two 'til last - what happened to 'star' pattern?
Wow, i always though you'd somehow need to compress spring to install it!
