  • For my own revision purposes I've uploaded this file.
I'm still a student pilot so if you see any mistakes, let me know in the comments so I can learn.
Its my first time flying away from Sibson's circuit, this one is to Wisbech overhead and return to Sibson.
The full journey is over 60 minutes including taxi, takeoff and landings. So I've cut this to just the Radios, en-route checks (basically me with maps and lots of nervous FREDAs) , and plenty of self-reassuring mumblings.
Video starts when CFI hopped out of the aircraft. From there I performed my pre-take off checks at Runway hold point B, then proceeded to line up and take off.
After leaving circuit to reach planned altitude of 2500ft, I headed off to
I changed frequency midway to London Info 124.6 MHz for Basic Service.
I did mess up the transmission, omitting altitude and QNH settings - however they were good enough to follow up later.
on return, I messed up my landing so had to go-around, basically I flared the aircraft too early so it ballooned- the second landing was passable but a tad heavy.
P/S: i do hope the flying reporter ‪@TheFlyingReporter‬ can one day take notice of this.
