Lions fan here: We love Stafford in Motown still to this day. Just couldn't love him on that particular day of course. Rams are a solid team. Man, Nacua is special!

He has similar completion percentage as Brady and the only knock is he will most likely have more interceptions. But he is known as a gunslinger. He will most definitely go down as an all-time great when he retires.

Ill say this, Matt is an amazing QB and as tough as they come, dude was totally knocked out cold that game and sprung right back into the game, also very smart for getting up pretending it was his shoulder😂. I love Stafford, he gave us Lions fans every bit he had every single game. He was worth tuning in for. It was a sad day when we traded him away. I've seen a couple references to it, but nothing that proves the kids were personally being booed... calling an entire fanbase trash over an assumption is pretty dumb. Rams fan here. Stafford is beast. One of the best throwers of a football. We had a great season and way overachieved. We had plenty of opportunities to win this game but lions red zone defense stepped up. Respect to the lions. They played great

I was super happy when Stafford won a SB with the Rams, I cheered for them all the way and I think it was great that Matt Stafford was apart of the Lions 1st home playoff game at Ford Field and the first when in over 30yrs. (New) Lions fan here: I appreciate Matt Stafford. He did a fantastic job in Detroit despite how bad the team was as a whole. I was glad he got traded and he left the D with a lot of respect for the town and the town had a lot of respect for him. I think a lot of Lions fans were more than thrilled that Stafford won the Superbowl the first year away from the Lions. I know a lot of people who knew he was being held back at Detroit.
Now, that being said, I'm glad he was beaten in this game. All the respect I have for him remains, but the Lions have caught fire like never before in the last 60 years. Whenever the Lions' season ends, the Lions have gained my respect that I had lacked for a long, long time.
Detroit fans can go back to wearing their old Stafford jerseys. He still has a place in our hearts. But not that day.

I Grew up and still live in Dearborn Michigan. I'm a life long Lions fan. I have always absolutely loved Matthew Stafford, and was so thankful to have had him as a Lion. I hated he couldn't see more success with the Lions and was so happy for his Superbowl win. There wasn't a more deserving person. He is an unbelievable quarterback, is tough as nails, is a total class act, and deserves to get his Hall of Fame jacket.

Im a Lions fan and I was worried when he got hit hard and went in the tent. Wish he could of won here but glad he got a ring. He was the first real franchise qb Detroit had in my life and was tough. His dislocated shoulder TD at end of a game is my favorite memory of him.

Despite the lack of class towards a franchise great, the poor Lions fans deserve some success, and this roster/coaching staff looks awesome. I really wanted to see a Lions vs Bills super bowl, felt like that would have been a win-win with two teams that had never gotten one, though that hope was dashed.

Stafford deep down will always be a Lion; I remember his rookie season coming back beating Cleveland 38-37 battle of the Midwest.
I'll always appreciate Stafford's time in Detroit, glad he got his ring. The booing was nothing personal, all business. He did exactly what I feared he'd do too, sling that ball all over the place....we managed to squeeze out the win.
The difference is we can squeak them out now. So, so many games over the years where the opponents did the squeaking.....Lions have learned how to win games.
