Bro just make the video “ what happen to Canadian tennis “ and explain that we’re just indoor goats with no shot tolerance (except Layla on that one lol)
Leylah has always been around keeping herself in the top 40 for the past 3 years. She just hasn't performed well in slams lately except for French Open 2022. I say her best bet at winning a slam is the French Open because I think she's most comfortable on clay. I also think she can make a run at Wimbledon. Her game can suit grass so well, but I don't think she (or her coaching staff) quite realize it.
Well, Leylah has the biggest lucky ever not being former USO champ... I think most of Raducanu lack of success ON COURT is because people are waiting her being a slam champ every single day anything less no matter what and nobody is waiting that from Leylah so she has all the time to improve or to regress being a normal 23yo player and Raducanu lives an eternal fantasy and cannot be on her way.
Y’know, I was watching that US Open 2021 final just this week, and it came to mind that you made a video about Raducanu, I was wondering when the Fernandez video would drop. I’ve got real good faith in Emma’s future but Leylah has potential to be so much too, especially with the likes of what she’s done up until now.
A video about Jack Draper entering the 2025 season would be much appreciated. He’s been the most hyped youngster going into the next year and it’d be interesting to see where you guys think he could go in 2025.
Leylah has the fighting spirit and her defensive skills are very good, however her serve is an obvious weakness. I think a number of her shots also need considerable technical changes.
One big question is , could Raducarnu have made the final with the same draw as Hernandez ??? I very much doubt it , her draw was way way easier. They are both very good tennis players , no doubt. But it's not a big stretch to understand why neither has gone close to duplicating that previous success
Raymond Moore: "They don't make any decisions, and they are lucky. They are very, very lucky…If I was a lady player, I'd go down every night on my knees and thank God that Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal were born, because they have carried this sport. They really have."
Just one thing: Emma didn't call the timeout -- the umpire did. It too ruined her momentum and she didn't want that to happen. But those are the rules. Correct me if I'm wrong -- it was three years ago? And I'm going to say it, Emma's future is brighter than Leylah's, in my opinion. Her overall game is better and she has had some good results this year and is top 60 despite playing in only half the tournaments a typical WTA player does. I can see her winning Wimbledon when (or if) she sorts out all of her problems.
You're not wrong, Emma did not call the timeout; what was the umpire supposed to do? Let Emma's knee bleed into her sock and potentially sully the court?? Absurd objection really.
Imo nothing happened, she just overperformed one tournament, and then she's still decent competing with better players well time to time. Still way better than Emma

Leylah Fernandez and Emma Raducanu in a slam final nowadays would be crazy to think about

Radu didn't lose a set to Leylah in the final

Whatever it is. She is a winner in life.

Who’s here after the iga report
What do you make of the situation? Cos it’s so weird
Smart tennis cant bring you far. You might luck out here or there, but thats it.
True. Just wondering what the other options are when a player doesn’t have the biggest weapons
If you’re not getting overpowered, smart tennis can bring you far. Shot making and tennis iq is important.

Agreed
Emma's ranking will approach Leylah's for 2025
