oh god i used to be the same with mixing a bunch of inspiration together to make the newest most revolutionary story ever (flashbacks to my harry potter + magical girl + narnia mashup story) and i agree that sometimes letting stories go is better, and sometimes new ideas come naturally when you let them sit. also, the drawings in the video look amazing :0
Before I even watch the video, I just want to say that the title is very true, as I have recycled a fanfiction idea and have worked on turning it into something truly amazing using the writing skills I have progressed 😁
