What's weirder is when you entered a lucid dream, then woke up; did your usual morning routine... then realized you're still sleeping.
Happened to me once, just once.

It happens a lot with lucid dreamers, our brain doesn't like the fact we are aware that we are dreaming and try to revert this by reiniciating our dream, waking us up or making us unaware again. There was this time when I was having this lucid dream and then a realized my brain made me go back to unaware state in the middle of it.

I was too scared to talk to anybody or do anything because It’s the equivalent of going to a random person in real life and smacking them (as in how it feels just like real life). But then when you wake up it’s just feels like another dream you had except you remember that dream vividly, but it won’t feel real when you wake up. Yes I can do all this plus some. I've been doing for over 15 years. You are doing the right thing by just forcing your eyes open during a nightmare. Editing nightmares is a a dangerous game. There are things that will latch themselves on to you and the pipeline that you make to the dream world. They will wait for the opportune moment to make their escape to our reality. You won't know they are here with you until it's too late. This my warning, please be careful. There things about lucid dreaming we dont fully understand yet.

Sometimes I have dreams that start off normal and eventually take a turn for the worst and when it does that I seem to like to ride these nightmares out as to me if I wake up in the middle of one I want to know what happens I want to understand the experience the problem is the emotions and feelings I am actually feelings are very much real so the anxiety and stress are all too real for me to believe that dreams are just a creative way to sleep but instead they are preparing us for some of our actual fears and by actually experiencing these fears in your dreams it takes away from the consequences in REALITY but if you take these to heart you will more or less take these as a warning. All though after I have these dreams for about a few hours to sometimes a few days these fears are A LOT more prominent and affect me deeply mentally until they eventually fade away such as many other feelings like love.

And iam like hey, its just a dream. No need to be frightened. And then BAM💥 The thing jumps right on my face and i am trying to shout out loud but cannot open my jaw. I am shivering with fear. And at first it's black and then like a movie, where I want to be just appears. It happened to me 5 times last night. And in one of the dreams I was actually telling my family "this is a dream I swear, watch this" and I'd go in my pocket and pull out a gun. It was so weird. Last nite was def the weirdest of them all and that's why I'm watching this video now. But I can always recognize it's a dream if something truly insane is happening and then I can make myself wake up. Lucid dreaming and then manipulating dreams are two dif things

Walter Antonio Alba An I was experiency lucid dreaming since 10 years, one thing I did a lot in my beginner journey that once I become lucid if I feel that the dreaming is collapsing or ending somehow, I begin to stare at my palms and relax for as long as the dream will become clear again and I continue my lucidity and also if I wanted to extend it for more time I stare at walls and begin to touch them; it is weird but it worked for me everytime (touching everything you see in the dream will make your dream clearer) after years you will not use those as relaxation and meditation will be very beneficial.

Also, if you messed up in the middle of the night and now you are awake, just stay relaxed/calm and think about the last part that happened to your dream, keep thinking about it and you will find yourself back to the dream. Also becareful of oversleeping, you might be enjoying too much you forget to wake up. hahaha enjoy

I was once in a lucid dream and I told someone "This is a Dream, your Not Real!" He preceded to give me a long explanation on his entire life story on how he had two sister, a dog that didn't like his cats, he was a salutatorian in school, and he even talked about how he had a dream last night and more and more stuff and that if he wasn't real and if this was just a dream then how could all of that happened. It stunned me realizing that this person had this entire life they thought was real, and was in reality no more different then you or me, and they thought they were real. And when I woke up they were gone, dead, non-existent. That could happen to all of us one day.

I can easily lucid dream, since I was 6. Playing video games is the key. I can get control of it easily like I can be a different person or at a different place like in a movie where two to three scenes are going together. Also I can change my appearance. And if I read a book before sleeping I dream of the same book and I can be any character. So I change my decision the whole story changes. How cool is that!

  • @StudioOAC

Awesome video! I remember lucid dreaming frequently when i was younger and it is a brilliant experience. The capabilities of what you can do in a lucid dream is astounding. It helps open up your ability to become more imaginative and creative, which is brilliant if you are a designer, engineer musician or artist. For example, whilst dreaming I could be in a fight and have 5 large spears thrown at me into my body and rip them out of my body and throw them back at the opponent without waking up or getting injured in the dream. I could teleport, fly, do huge jumps that could make me leap a mile into the air as well as cover huge distances. I could have superhuman strength, hold my breath underwater forever, survive through fires which would usually burn and kill you in several seconds. The list of things are endless and i truly miss those moments. Unsurprisingly, my favorite film ever is Inception and i enjoy it so much because it somewhat relates strongly to the concept of lucid dreaming. Its a beautiful crafted film and if you have ever lucidly dreamt to the level of expertise i have you will realize how powerful that movie is and how much you can relate. PLEASE make another video on lucid dreaming where you can look at ways to increase your chances of lucid dreaming and how to control the dream. For begginners who first start, it can be rather disappointing because having the ability to control and plan your dream can be overwhelming and cause you to wake up from the dream.

Sometimes when I wake up by my alarm I hit snooze and rest my eyes then I get up and I go on with the rest of my day but then I wake an hour later still in my bed laying down and I’ve been late to school and work because of it. I believe it helps a lot. It has given me many fail scenarios, helps me avoid things I’ve failed out in my dream and avoid them in real life. It’s kind of weird but I’ve been stabbed to death and shot to death as well. I’ve been able to repull these dreams in other dreams and go through these scenarios and figure out where I went wrong. Kinda neat. It’s like an extra life in a video game. Hopefully this helps.

I remember having a 'sort-of' lucid dream or more accurately a lucid nightmare. I remember dreaming of a person chasing me with a knife in their hand and in the dream I remember running and then wishing I was super fast and I did actually run very fast but the guy was still right behind me whenever I looked back. I then wished to teleport some place safe but wherever I went he was still behind me. Can't remember if the dream ended abruptly or if the guy who was chasing me actually got me but this proved to me that even when I am aware of dreaming I can't always control everything.

For those who have tried playing games in VR - its like having super high fidelity VR Googles on - you can literally move and touch things just like in real life. Its incredible. Before he could answer I woke up with my fingers positioned as if I was really holding a pen.. This has happened to me on several occasions, most of my lucid dreams happen when I wake up really early then go back for a second sleep. I could do things like flying with such ease, you can feel evething exactly as you would feel it in real life, it's just that you are aware you are sleeping and to me colors are so much brighter than a normal dream! Wrote down a song and was so excited to see what I had written down. Only to wake up and realize the pen didn’t work during the dream, but did that very morning. I think things from other realms should stay there. So I stopped with the craziness. The mind is a wonderful thing.

In response to how dreams are, yes, they feel quite real, with enough practice you can experience them with all your senses, although it is limited to the brain's perception of these senses, for example, when you fly you feel the speed and the wind in your face, but it isn't exactly what you feel when you fly, but what you think it feels like when you fly, based on memories that you form in real life

I see people trying to follow the techniques for lucid dreaming, but honestly, I think it’s bs. I wasn’t able to sleep for months, but now that Im able to control what I dream about is probably more amazing than reality. I’d rather sleep all the time, than stay awake. I think a lot more people *could* lucid dream but don't simply because the easiest way to do it is through night terrors. Almost everyone has had that sensation of being trapped and struggling to wake while something or someone threatening looms over you. Everyone who has experienced that was in a precursor state to lucid dreaming. All they had to do was think "this isn't real" and just relax and fall asleep. But of course, it's a terrifying situation so people usually struggle to wake up instead.

She had a stick in her hand looking like she was gonna hit me and the ball was at her feet. I got scared and dropped down to the floor putting my hand back and slowly backing away. This is when things get out of control. I ran with my friends out of the school and the gate was unlocked and a mech was there. I got in and I saw zombies and starting killing them. The best way to describe lucid dreaming would be almost like you’re soul leaving you’re body to go free roam I do lucid dream at least 2-3 times a week some of them are very detailed some of them can be frightening but not frightening like something scary I mean frightening because you have the ability to add people and remove people it’s honestly such a wild feeling I feel like sometimes I’m living another life while I’m dreaming

When you feel pain in a dream and you are sure that it was real that's bc our minds are so powerful that in dreamland we still feel the same like as if we were awake. The difference is the physical damage sustained in a dream will only effect ur dream body. If you've ever wondered why you wake up after you die in a dream its bc our brains can't comprehend death bc its never actually been through it (idk how this would apply to ppl that have died and been revived)

It is called a false awakening when you wake up but still in a dream. Notice when you don't know you're dreaming, the dream plays you. When you're aware, you play the dream because you ARE the dream. Reality will work the same way when you get there 😄

I've never had a lucid dream directly after sleeping. But many times, i wake up, go pee, fall back asleep, totally in control of my dream while being aware that I'm dreaming. I don't know if it's lucid dreaming exactly but sounds like that. It's pretty interesting though
