- This is the backyard part of this FREE Yard make over. Last video I did the front. This time its the back part. I spoke to some of the neighbors and they told me there had beed squatters going in and out of this place. Cops had to be called and they chased them down the alley. They were thankfull I cleaned this up to help watch the property easier.

Its funny how many abandoned houses there are. The neighbor that mentioned squatters you would think she would be extremely excited about someone cleaning it up. Since it looked like a privacy screen that she put up not to look at the house next door. Shout out to the lady that handed ✋️ you money 💰 thank you, Cris is so deserving ❤️. Chris, if you were squatter, you would’ve been the first one to ever clean up a yard. I’ve never heard of a squatter ever cleaning up a yard. They usually leave it a mess lol

Nice work Cris, to those wondering about getting tired from standing on a mower. I sit on a zero turn and, believe it or not, sitting down makes me more tired than standing up. The only thing I liked about his type of mower was the fact that I could stand up while mowing. I also believe sitting down is worse for your back, sometimes when I get off my mower I feel like I got hit by a truck.

It’s funny that the neighbor came over to see if you were a squatter. You were raking and picking up grass clippings and had just run a loud lawnmower and trimmer for a while. Not many squatters have lawnmowers, trimmers and rakes 😂

Since the hard and dirty work has been done by Cris, one would hope that one or more neighbors will step up in the future and maintain the lawn which will also help to keep the riff-raff away.
They do need to take responsibility for their neighborhood! They could do and end of the season cleanup and a block party at the same time.

Some of these places don't look as if they belong in a decent neighborhood. Why would someone abandon a house that could be donated to a homeless charity? This would reduce squatters from moving in. Just to board it up means there had to be other issues with the ownership. You made it look so much better for the neighbors. Thanks, Cris

Chris, I’ve noticed on other videos of lawn restorations the guys hitch the heavy loaded tarp to their lawnmowers and pull it out that way instead of using their backs. Might be easier for you, your loads are pretty heavy looking. Great job!!
Didn't take a bird long to come check out the lawn. They must be learning to come when there is a lawn mower sound. Glad you are working on the back and that it will help with neighbors being able to watch-out for squatters. Glad you won the battle over that tangle of wires. Smiled when you were able to untangle a fence section on the ground and set it back into place. The power company would appreciate that you cleared the power boxes. Whomever that last stretch of lawn belonged to, it was a good move to mow it as well. Kind of the neighbor, Pat, to help with the gas cost. 33:56, amazing how something as simple as clearing an "alley way" makes such a difference. 36:25, after the work you did, the place doesn't look the same at all. You can pay for a catcher for the mowers but like the mower it's expensive.

Mr. Cris, I agree with @dogwhiskers8. Thank you for cleaning up the “hay”. This always makes the lawn look as good as it can, given the circumstances. I’ve unsubscribed to other channels that seem to think it’s okay to just leave it lay on the ground or pile it up somewhere in the backyard.
