- As I drove by I noticed this yard was overgrow grown so I went and knock. I had cut this yard last year but it got to the point where its overgrown again. Everyone stopped by just to say thanks it was getting cut.

Bagging or moving the clippings to the back is definitely better than almost every other I’ve ever watched ….

My thought exactly! At least, the very least, mow your side up to the driveway and persuade the neighbor on the other side to do the same. Or get the folks across the street to help and switch off, four families, take turns mowing. It is a neighborhood after all. What has happened to us?
You're assuming the neighbors are young enough to do it, have the equipment to do it, can afford bags, gas and batteries to do it, and don't have two jobs, young kids or the time to do it! How many lawns have you helped to cut lately?

When someone passes away. There's a lot of Red Tape. My Wife, lost her 25 month battle with Cancer, 11 January 2024. My Daughter, Son & I have a Lawyer. Moving everything thing from My Wife's & My name to them. I'm 64, easier for them, when I pass. Old People & Young People, don't wait till it's to late, to have the tough decisions. Can't take anything with You. Casket or Cremation
Make a living trust! My mother planned ahead, we were grateful, made life less difficult during our grieving period. At 62 we have now started the process for our kids 🤷🏼♀️

Gee you’d think that after 20 years they would sell the house so someone could move a new family to bring life back into the property. Who knows the whole story, it’s just awesome that you came to help out the neighborhood with a beautiful cleanup. Can’t wait to see the entire property looking good after you finish the back yard as well. You really do a fabulous job.
The owner doesn’t want to live in it anymore and she obviously doesn’t need the rental income. So rather than let it sit there to rot why not rent it at a lower rate to a family that is homeless. I would consider it if I were her just for the protection and upkeep of the property. You do such good work. Thanks for all your help in the communities. 😊❤

Thanks for keeping an eye on this property. That was a near painful contrast to surrounding places at 2:04. Your cleanup will likely bring about a reduction in rodents, mosquitoes as well as putting in upgraded order. Good extras of removing deadwood plants, and taking suckers off the big tree. You are having to do a lot of layers again, but a polish is appearing as a result. A Transformation is an appropriate word here, as the front yard looks nothing like when you started on it. You said people stopped by to say thank you. That is a very big indicator of having changed the neighborhood over your past rounds of work.
Love the hedge trimming, it really makes the garden look complete. Another terrific job Chris, I'm looking forward to part two!

OMG !! Not sure you could have made the lawn and edges look any better. I was hoping you might have taken those way overgrown bushes running up to the front door down to about a foot but probably not realistic after all, even though it would deter squatters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. SOOOO much better when you take the clippings away. Thank you for not leaving a messy pile. I normally sigh when I see a rideon/standon mower but I know when you use it you don't slash and dash like others. Pride in your work, even on empty houses.

Really nice, I can’t wait to see what you do with the backyard. I also think when you go back to do the backyard, you should think about cutting those front hedges that are leading to the front door. I know you trimmed them but they’re hiding that front door, and it would be easy for squatters to take over.I think the only reason they are that tall is because they haven’t been cut in so long. So just a suggestion, I think it would be smart to bring them all down to at least waste high.😊

Fantastic! That was the best job I've ever seen on RUclips! I just now subscribed today. You're a real professional and very inspiring to watch. I like the way you lined up the mower to use the side discharge to direct the clippings towards the driveway so that you could pick the clippings up easier without having to use a grass catcher. That was very smart. I also like the fact that you limit your use of electric equipment. Electric equipment is very boring to watch especially electric trimmers and electric blowers. Your equipment is very good I enjoy watching your equipment in action. I'm a major fan of small engine equipment and I like to hear them run on RUclips.
Let's hope the neighbours will all do their bit to stay on top of this front all it takes is maybe 30 40 more steps YOU HAVE DONE A FANTASTIC JOB ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
