My Grandpa, The canals, Pride Parade, city life, country side, dunes, festivals, bike culture, Sinterklaas and the Afsluitdijk, ...
For over 2years I have worked on this project where I travelled through the country to capture a wide variety of what the Netherlands really is.
Admittedly fascinated with the NL, I realised I never seen all of it, till I decided to literally travel around the country to see all there is. From Maastricht to Groningen, from Amsterdam to Arnhem, everything is in there.
The touristic hotspots, the hidden beauty, the characterising culture, etc.
If you can summarise what The NETHERLANDS is, if you want to explain to someone what it means to be Dutch, this is my answer in moving images.
