Estoy tan feliz con esta pareja, lo único a reprochar de esta temporada son sin duda la falta de escenas de ellos. Creo que hay momentos del libro que necesitabamos ver, conocer más de Kate, pero igual ellos lo compensan todo! Creo que en cada escena juntos yo aguantaba la respiración. Pasan sin dudas a mis OTP'S (lo que esperé esta temporada no se imaginan).
En fin, espero que les guste el edit, la canción creo que es perfecta para ellos.

It's the way they look each other they literally cannot take their eyes off each other. The chemistry is amazing I do wish we had gotten more scenes and I would have loved to see their wedding but honestly love this couple they are my favorite

Anthony was always really looking for her/following her scent throughout their romance. He could not stop looking for her or smelling her. That scene where she passes by and he is caught up in her scent, that scene beats all! The non verbals between them was the best part of the series.

Kate's mother Lady Mary suggested to Kate use lily soap for nerve the camera focus on the soap in teh scene since then Anthony could not stop smelling that lily scent even said in one of the scene the scent of lilies I caught when the camera focus on thatt table of soap that it was inevitalble Anthony would not be able withstand scent standing close to Kate.
The part where he broke down in tears because he felt relieved that kate has woke up is the best part🥺
I loved the whole scene with his mom. Really showed how deep he was in love but so scared to allow himself to give in. ❤️❤️❤️

His tears were tears of RELEASE.
He never cried after his father died.
The heavy burden was lifted.
I cried when he cried. I understood it.
Somebody give this man a thousand awards of accolades...excellent actor...

Jesus, this was so well acted. There’s so much packed into ten seconds and the camera doesn’t miss any of it.
The way their fingers curl into each other, the closest thing to an embrace they can manage.
Kate’s face twitching as she’s holding back tears, barely able to keep it together in front of everyone watching them.
Anthony’s jaw tightening and grinding as he’s doing much the same, fighting to maintain his composure, hardly able to keep looking at her. Even closing his eyes sat one point as if to steady himself.
Because this is the “final” dance. The last time they will ever be so close AND THEY KNOW IT.
Outstanding. Dunno how they’ll top this in S3.

I swear the chemistry between the characters in Bridgerton are soo captivating and literally off the charts
I know it’s been said before, but again, yes, Jesus, the chemistry between these two leads was unreal. Every time they shared the screen you could FEEL the desire and longing and barely-repressed lust. The sheer complexity and tragedy of their situation was amazing, too.
My main critique of S2 was that there was too little of THEM. Too many time dedicated to side plots that, while kinda fun, ultimately I don’t care about.

This couple has got me writing essays.
From what I heard, this season had more divergence from the books compared to season 1 romances. It does feel like more tropes from outside of Bridgerton were pulled in. I can't weigh the pros and cons of the book vs show, but I can comment on the show I think that the chemistry, character growth and relationship of Kate and Anthony in eight episodes was gripping, although I wish there was more time to see them happy.
I don't like the ideas of forbidden romance and love triangle were played up for drama, like how I heard from book lovers. However, what made it work for me is that I believed they did connect to each other's personalities, values and desire to care for their families as the first child after the wreck of losing a loved parent early...really, seeing their mothers lose the love of their lives. Kate and Anthony are such different people and responded to that trauma in different ways, but they find common ground and give each other such respect for that common ground, and that was a delight to watch. They are also kin spirits in how they seek challenges and long for freedom, and the fact they "know" each other so well in that aspect is endearing to see.
That said, it makes sense that Kate doubted Anthony. Hearing him say when he was with other men that doesn't want love in marriage clearly influenced her a lot and when she gives in to passion with Anthony, she assumed it is all he can offer... passion without real love. She has no way of comparing how he is with her to how he is with others and so, he thinks Anthony can be as romantic and passionate with someone else who is not her and it's just her that will long for love in their relationship. I was glad Anthony suffered until he realized he had to change , because otherwise he had insufferable takes duty and marriage, and could have very much ended up alone and have deserved ending up alone. I'm glad he had family to try to talk to him. Even if they were not there for him when he needed them before, nor understood him well...he's still so lucky to have those kinds of people in his life.
This couple made me have so many feels...not just about passions, but the topic about how losing someone you love can scar you deeply and make you change out of fear to protect what's left after they're gone...how you can feel like a walking wounded person but no one sees those wounds because they're emotional. And yet, even while this couple saw each other as challenges, hindrances and annoyances, they fall in love to the extent they can guess the other's hidden pain more than anyone and they can feel known and loved with each other.
Kate calming Anthony down in the show's bee scene was such a moment between a man who mentally carries the burden of his world on himself and is so wounded by loss that he's triggered with fear and helplessness when he sees the bee, and a strong, capable and compassionate woman who switches from anger to care quickly once she realizes he is in distress.
I think the moment blew their minds, not only due to the close call with scandal, but because emotional walls came down and they both felt safe for a second. Does the book have that dynamic like that bee moment does? It's my favorite part of the show version of this couple and why I cannot forget them. I don't even crave to read or see romance usually but watching season 2 was a mood. I'm so glad she does not go to India and that Anthony overcomes his fear of love to be able to confess love to her, which was going to be the only way that she would have justified staying...if what he had to offer her was true love.
I'm hopeful that the future seasons will continue to have diverse and engaging stories to tell about its couples. The thing is...romances where it seems like the characters don't really understand each other but have a lot of passion are a dime a dozen. Having a romance stand out is making it speak to more people in a powerful way and I hope the future seasons can do that like this season did for me.
I did not mention the first season because I haven't seen all of it yet but yeah. There have only been two seasons. I'm glad they're different or else that would make this season boring. I'm glad the first season introduced the whole world and walked so that season 2 and future seasons can run. I'm on the bandwagon now!
