is it possible to switch the regulator from one of the other working windows? Also how do I know for sure its not the motor or a fuse problem? The three other windows still work (move up and down).
If the cables have broke and are holding the window jambed in the up position. Sometimes you need to free the cables up so that the window will slide down for you.
Very helpful in getting the needed part and replacing it. Only issue is may want to address is if the window is stuck in a position can't directly access the bolts holding the window. In my case the cable started to unravel and the window was stuck in just about the bottom position. I eventually overcame it through trial and error by removing the door speaker and clipping the bottom cable.
Excuse me,but how will I get to the bolts that hold the window to the regulator if the regulator is jammed and the window won't position so that I can get access to those bolts
the window in my b15 sentra still goes up and down but crooked and jams at the end, in this case do I need to replace the entire motor or is it something else that's not working?
I crossed the wires ....(had to splice them as the fittings were different shapes) did that ruin the motor or blow a fuse...did work fine when I tested first...
What about the pig tail? You didn’t really explain that part. I’m very confused. I have attempted this several times. Not sure what to do with the pig tail.
I have a 2010, only my driver's side will go down but not up I'm thinking it's a wiring problem in the switch harness. If anyone has had this problem any information would be great
Hello, i have a Nissan Sentra 2012 base model. My window will not go up. it went down on it;s own and i took it to Firestone. They told me that i need a regulator and motor. I brought a regulator should i try the new regulator and see if the motor works still or buy a new window motor as well?
+Danita Akins It all depends if the motor is still working well. The first thing to usually go is the regulator itself, but every case is different. www.1aauto.com
excuse me ...u have any video about how to change door look actuator...because my front door doest look and make a noise ...and it doesnt look ..thanks for the answer
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair. We'll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
+Daphne Jno Baptiste Thank you for watching. If your window is stuck then you may attempt to disconnect power to lower it manually, but in most cases if it's a cable driven regulator you must cut the cables as it often gets binded in the roller gear. 1aauto.com
+4-TRE Aries Thanks for checking us out! The part that was provided for this video is for 00-05 Sentra. We were only able to get an 06 Sentra for the video and the process is nearly the same for all these years. If you are looking for the regulator for the 06 Sentra, the correct item number is 1AWRG02762. We apologize for the confusion! 1aauto.com

Thank you! You made replacing my window regulator super easy.
Thank you for the feedback! +Jaz E
Great tutorial as always, thanks & best wishes!
You might want to check the connection to see if any wires are showing. The issue might be that the wires grounded out and blew a fuse.

Does this process appy to the 2012 model as well??
+DDRE4 It may be a different procedure on that particular vehicle. 1aauto.com
