I have some scrapbook paper that is perfect for masculine cards so I decided to design 4 DIY Masculine Cards that could be made in minutes.
Time to dig into your double sided paper and create some quick and easy masculine cards! Make them up in advance and stamp the sentiment later, if you wish. It's always nice to have cards ready to send the wonderful guys in our lives!
I was so happy to be able to sit down and make a bunch of DIY Masculine Cards in one sitting that I can use through fall and winter. I could also pull other papers out and make even more to last all year but this was a great start to get me through the next few months.

Great ideas! My husband died in 2017 and when I was cleaning things out, I found his stash of every card I had ever made him, too. I saved them and have used several as examples of new cards to create for others. Looking at them gives me joy just knowing how much joy they gave him.

Connie - These are perfect masculine cards . I agree that designer paper is quick & easy. The punches are very easily punched as well to speed the process. I think that is so great that your husband has kept all the cards you have created for him over the years. As always Connie, I love 💕 watching how you make the cards, showing us how you make them and hearing your tips as you go along. Great masculine cards, especially loved how you put the card DSP base on a solid background and made the open window.
People that see my cards I make for my husband love them. My husband is not one to show emotions and he will say that’s nice. So, I don’t make many for him.

Beautiful cards! I love these ideas and they could be used with any DSP. I was thinking if I didn't have a coordinating ribbon, I could always use a strip of coordinating solid colored paper. I'm going to make some these this weekend.

Side note, my husband had saved cards from me and from some others, as his health was declining he went out back and burned them in the fire pit. His reason: "so that when I die, they will already be up there waiting for me." I thought that was sweet. He passed the week before or 25th anniversary and I thought about his cards being in heaven for him. Its still pretty new to me as he passed on July 8th 2021. In the future I am going to make his cards and burn them to send them up to him.
