Thank you for speaking up about this. I went through breaking down my invisible walls for the last 11 years so that I could be more competent socially for 11 years. I built up my invisible walls when I was young because I was bullied and hazed a good bit in my younger childhood when I was studying in an all-boys elementary school in Hong Kong. And then when I immigrated to the USA, I felt I added more invisible walls when my first encountered with girls did not go well either due to my sweaty palms on top of language barrier (as my English was not fully developed yet). It was not until I was in occupational therapy school at 24 years old where I was in an environment where more people began to accept me for who I am. When people see me now, I know that there were a good few people couldn't believe I was quite shy, introverted, and reserved prior to starting my current career.
I love that you are imperfect and brilliant. Awesome. Beautifully articulated talk. I love that women are so beautiful, that women are coming forward, and that women want to be remembered and step into visibility.
Such a powerful message, thanks so much for sharing your story. Spoken well Dianna!
