    Pro tip, if you get it out of a scrap yard, bring a 20v cordless battery with you and some extra wiring, find the +/- on the battery and hook it up to the +/- on the wiring harness under the seat (probably have to cut into it) so you can move the seat to get to the rails.

      I got a pretty nice 330 power seat yesterday for less than $100 at pick n pull. The prices there are standard, doesn't matter which brand, but just priced based on manual, power, or power with airbags. There are usually plenty of power seats available because most people probably don't know how to get them out without power to the car. @@Itsallaboutthebuild

    I got mine from a Ford Focus. Sporty, look great and are manual recline and manual slider.
    I’m probably purchasing a Sim Lab P1-X Pro with a triple screen. Have to figure out how to mount it. Also have an older Playseat with Gran Turismo 5 logos on it, was a collab between them I guess. Debating if I sell it or put the second seat on it (original seat is tiny for me at six two and 300 lbs). If I put the second Focus seat on it I can get a cheaper wheel and use that for Forza.

    This is awesome. I have an electric saab seat. If I have a car battery, is it possiblento hook it up to that instead of using a converter? Is it just a matter of connection for power wires directly to the battery? Or is that considered unsafe? Sorry for so many questions...haha

    • @Itsallaboutthebuild

    Hey I’m doing this with a seat from a Mercedes w212 and I just have one question, why did you choose to go with a power supply with 10A? What influences that? I already tested mine with one similar to yours just not sure if it is too much or too little

    • @Itsallaboutthebuild
      @Itsallaboutthebuild  6 месяцев назад

      The multiple seat motos are heavy duty and their specs called for higher 12v amperage than a power supply that usually charges say a small electronic device.

      @JottaaHD 6 месяцев назад +1

    • @Itsallaboutthebuild
      @Itsallaboutthebuild  6 месяцев назад

      @@JottaaHD your seat motor may not be able to function if you don’t have enough amps to power the electric motor. You may be able to check for a label on your seat motor that you can look up online to see how many amps are required. It doesn’t hurt having a power supply with extra amps.
