There is playing the guitar, playing this music, which many do more-or-less badly. And there is owning the guitar and the music, a whole other level of mastery. And of this level, at any given time only a few people on the planet can aspire to and achieve it. Mr. Kayath makes it look easy and sound easy - and in fact it's darn near impossible, unless you're an owner. Even listening to this is an education.

Conheci Marcelo Kayath no X Seminário Internacional de Violão (Porto Alegre-RS) em 1978. Nessa época já era um grande violonista e teve naturalmente uma trajetória brilhante! Hoje nos dá o prazer de ouvir pérolas musicais como essas peças do Weiss...abraços!
