You ladies are fantastic! My boyfriend and I love camping so much but as I stumbled across this video I started to think about how much fun it would be if all our lady friends went camping together without the guys. We all go as families but I think it’s a totally different experience when women work together. Looks like you all have a pretty great thing going. Never thought of utilizing tool storage units for camping. But what a really great idea. All the necessary camping related items can quite effectively be positioned in its own space in these storage cases. They can be labeled, color coded, whatever you need to do so you can find what you are looking for really fast. Very efficient way of going on a camping trip and they are easy to move around. Really well thought out. Thanks for sharing this practical idea. All the best.

I stumbled upon this video while researching the Husky tool organizer. You gave a great explanation of all the different organizers on the market in a fast and informative way. Great video. I haven't been camping in years but I never even thought of these organizers used for camping. What a great idea. So much more practical than rummaging around through backpacks and duffle bags shifting everything out of place each time you need to find something. Makes me want to go camping now. :) Thanks.

Wow! very good video. I found this because I want a system like this for my camping gear for my Bronco. I'm leaning toward the Rigid system. But I love the way you Demo'd each product.

Thanks! My sister is AWESOME at what she does. She really knows her stuff. As for deciding which works for you, go in the store and try it out. Or start small and upgrade. You can then resell the old one or gift it to someone just starting out.

If you take the bins out of the top of the Hart top stack you can use it for a dish washing basins. Two separate sides, soapy water/rinse water. It really works great and when your done with dishes, put the bins back in.

Great idea. We've had a big storage tote we've used for years called the "adventure bin". Going this route allows you to mix and match based on what kind of trip you're doing and also keep things organized better. Now we just need to revisit all the places we did in the past to get new stickers.
Stickers are fun reminders of great adventures.

Could I give you a tip after this awesome video? Switch the room co2 alarm to a personal one it has a screen that will tell you how high it is as well as being smaller. ❤ I never sleep good while using the buddy

All of the setups are nice. I like Rigid best. the camp shovel or E-tool can also be used to clear snow away from your Exhaust pipe on your vehicle if you every get snowed in.

I use my husky connect system daily for tool portage but never thought about these units for camping. Thank you for opening my eyes!

Great reviews! I’ve just started using these type of boxes. Should also check out dewalts tough system and milwaukees packout system. Using the dewalt setup and it’s so good with triple draws as well
I know this video is older, but Hart now has a 2 drawer box for the stack system at Walmart for $39.99. It looks like it would be handy for camping, as well as tools. The Rigid system is probably the most durable, due to it being made as a contractor grade system, and it’s waterproof. I own the Milwaukee Packout system myself, but it’s probably way to expensive for what you’re using them for. Any of the ones you have are perfect for the DIY/home owner for camping, or actual tool storage.
I found the two-drawers Hartford set at Walmart and added it to the stacking Hart set. Definitely a game-changer. Thanks!

looking at the specs, it looks like the Hart system is larger than the craftsman versastack. If this is correct does it actually equate to a little more storage room?

Does the nasty chemical smell on the tool cases ever fade? They seemed perfect as camp boxes as they have dividers or inner compartments. But the chemical smell was wicked and strong, and worried anything like food or permeable items like clothes would absorb the smell in a couple hours.
We cleaned ours prior to using and having noticed a smell.

Can the Hart 24" Rolling tool chest be placed on its side without it being too wobbly if someone wanted to but plastic drawers or shelves inside and use it as more of a chuck box instead of a bin?
It seems to work best if placed upright.
I'd love to know if any of you have tried the Rollout toolboxes and if you have a preference between that system and these pack out boxes.

Cool video. For long term storage, is their a nasty plastic smell in the boxes?
Not at all. In fact, I’ll typically put the gearbox in the car at the beginning of the season and store it in the shed or basement once we’re done for the season. Haven’t noticed an odor.
Can you open the second or third rigid case w the top case still on?
No, you’d have to unstack to access.
You should know that all these boxes is made by Keter...so all from one producer;)

Is the hart lockable?
Yes, depending on which model.
My mother calls it Walmark
