StrayKids gave LiSA the max distribution of line (35.6%) ,such a Remarkable thing.! They didn't give her just few secs and call it a day. They gave her the Perfect amount of time she deserves in a Collab song to showcase her Powerful Voice for which she is known for.! Perfecto.!
I love you guys and respect your opinions but I am going to have to disagree. I thought it was perfect balance and that Lisa's energy added to the song gave even more giving it some grit. She sang half the song and even though they said they just featured her it wasn't a collaboration I felt that it was more of a collaboration than a feature. Most of the time when they feature someone they only have a pre chorus or about 3 lines. And together they created an amazing sound and song. The end where they harmonized together was something I wasn't expecting but love. Thank you for your honest views, and catch you on the next video!
Very true! LiSA's voice amplified the overall tone of the song because she's the chorus, layered in the last verse, and Felix's low tone to contrast from her higher tone. They knew how to bring out her voice the most (like the iconic sound when she sings anime OSTs). It's like how the other reactor, a voice coach (forgot her name, omg) that her voice was that splash of color to it.
Skz respect lisa thats why they gave her the chorus and made this song match by her voice and style
Yes, I can't imagine how hard it must be for groups who have more than 4-5 members. To balance things out, to not let anyone be left out. In my opinion, they did what they could.

I feel like Stray Kids gave LiSA more than most collaborations do. I also think they were really smart putting Felix's voice right after LiSA. The contrast of their two voices was the secret sauce of Social Path.

Lisa had more lines than all skz members individually. She had the perfect amount of lines, y'all pushing it. THIS WASN'T A CALLAB, and it didn't say liSA (feat stray kids) it's Stray Kids (ft. liSA)... If you want to hear more of her so bad listen to her solo songs. Love your guy's reactions but what you said didn't make any sense to me. Also, (for the guy in the middle) Bangchan made, wrote, and composed the song from what I know and I get that you're giving your honest opinion BUT he knew what he wanted to do with the song and also who he wanted in the song, and if that was liSA then no need to question it.

If you check the line distribution LiSA has the most lines in the song compared to other skz members. She's a feature in skz' title track, not the other way around. It's skz' album that she featured in. I don't understand why people expect her to sing more in other people's songs.
This song sounds like an anime opening/ending. Love the vibe of it and Lisa’s voice on it sounds amazing.

I hope you listen to the song again, imho this is a great example of how to properly feature an artist! The chorus was the highlight of this song and they gave it all to her, and the harmony at the end is chef's kiss.

Sorry but your comment didn't make sense because skz made LiSA shined in this song and mv, she literally sang the most in this song than all members. Skz respected LiSA by giving her the chorus and climax and making the song amplified by her voice and style. You should hear from LiSA coz she really likes this song that's why she decided to sing it with skz. Its a bit sad you didn't get the message of the song and was more focused on skz and LiSA being 2 separate artists.

This is the level of quality of a collab (between a male group and a female singer) that I have always wanted to see. Not only are everyone’s voices beautiful and clearly audible, but they gave LiSA what is best remembered - the chorus.
I think the line distribution was perfect for lisa, she brought the intensity and emotion in a way that complements the kids voices.
Wait till they hear Hyunjin's collab with Troye Sivan for Rush.😅

If Lisa got anything more lee know and bangchan would have to be completely dropped from the song or the entire bridge reworked 😂 im used to a feature getting a verse and gone, but in a 8 member group that might be harder. Like Topline, a tiger jk verse and you don’t hear him again. I feel she was throughly incorporated and this song matches her sound very well to me. WHat gets me about these comments is not how many lines LiSA does or doesn't have; its why people feel like any disagreement is a personal attack on SKz. I can be a fan and not like something they do. They arent mutually exclusive. The song is rad. I dug it. I also wish LiSA had more lines. These arent mutually exclusive positions. But creators like TRC get slammed by comment after comment telling them why their opinion is wrong. You may notice I havent replied to every comment that disagreed with the guys here; people can have their own opinions. Its when they start making attacks or repeated replies because a reactor disagrees with their position I get angry.
I must admit l enjoyed Lisa’s contribution to the the song and not being familiar with her l was satisfied with l think almost a third of the song she was featured in. As it was in part written about Chan’s experience of leaving his family around age 13 in Australia to follow his dream in Korea to become an idol, living in a dormitory seeing friends debut or get cut from the program for 7 long years and the emotional toll it took on him it definitely was a Stray Kids song.

Interesting perspectives, thank you for reacting honestly even though it wasn't all positive. Seems like opinions on this collab vary pretty wildly, I certainly enjoyed it but I went in unfamiliar with LiSA so had no expectations.

I must say, I strongly, with totality, disagree with you. Lol, Dont get me wrong, I most definitely respect your right to an opinion! I always will, but facts are facts. They gave lisa the MOST lines of anyone. Case in point, a nornal feature is when an artiat gives their guest a sinlge 'verse' of about
4-8 lines. Because K-pop songs are done with a lot of people, the line distribution is 1-4 lines at a time per person, mostly depending on group size. Stray kids have 8 memebrs, and they have THE MOST fair line distribution in K-pop. Just look at the statistics for their albums if you want to see what i mean. Per song, of course they aren't fair. It really depends on the genre and who the syle and the vocal requirements fit best. But in terms of distribution in the average group, when it comes to any given feature, they KILLED IT in that regard. Hands down.
I mean, i don't know what anyone who says such a thing expected. Becausethey would have had to remove other members and give her lines that the meaning of woudxbe weird to have her singing and wouldnt ay all fit the reat of her lines or her role in the song at all... or they would have had to add unnecessary lines to the song altogether. So this was the ONLY way, and the MOST BRILLIANT way to do this. Seriously, any other way would have been to just give her a basic tiny verse, but that has no business being in this song and would be tacked on. Completely removing members one by one and/or pulling the nasty move that groups companies pull when they are the ones that make their music. They literally trade the groups song to the featured artist in order to get them to do the feature in the first place. This is usually the case with K-pop groups who do a feature with a Western artist. It they are unknown, they will likely get 4 lines. But if they are well known... then their company gives them the whole song. Meanwhile, when it comes to groups that collaborate with other Korean or Japanese artists, the feature always gets either 6-8 lines once, or less offen, 3-4 lines twice. Those numbers are the completely normal and accepted amount. And no one ever bats an eye.
Then again, even if she would have only had the last 6 lines of the song that she had, that would have been considered a completely normal feature in music... so that can't he it. Hmmm. Lol. However, that's not what happened. Stray Kids went out of their way to proudce a song, literally, with her in mind. I guarantee that they didn't make this track or even decide that it would be a Japanese title with a anime opening sound, or ANYTHING other than have the lyrics written (chan wrote it about his journey in kpop) and definitely didnt have a decised storyline they were going to work it into either. At least nothing other than the one behind the lyrics... Until she came into the picture. Stray Kids' two features are quite literally two of the most thoughtful that i have ever seen done in K-pop. A place where the line distribution is, understandably, based on need and proper structure than fairness.
In fact, Stray Kids have one of the most brilliant loop holes, being they make all of their own music from top to bottom. My point is this, Stray Kids have the ability to be different because they are different. Including when it comes go their featuring another artist. So while the way in which they did so with LiSA may be very different than how most artiat would have her feature. I assure you (and this is not an opinion) that theirs was the most thoughtful and involved of all possibilities. Now, i can't say why any of you felt she was "tacked on" when the fact is, most features are tacked on and added afterward. That is what you would say if you just listened to a song, not mention just watched an MV, where the artist has a verse, in the middle of song of a few lines that is the smae length as what the members had, and the song is a normal song for the group, and the feature isn't even in the MV. Meanwhile, what SkZ just did was quite literally the opposite! She had OVER a third of the song line wise (something like 4, 4, 2 plus 4). Of course, this was split into 3 sections. Which not only allowed her to be featured throughout the entire song but also allowed her to be a big feature in the MV because, most importantly, they actually made her PART OF THE STORYLINE.
I mean, really, how can you say she felt tacked on when not only did they literally build the production around HER sound instead of theirs, at the same time they manage to keep what makes the Stray Kids sound intact, affectivly merging their two defining styles together cohesively. Then, they gave her a third of a song that is theirs, successfully prioritizing and respecting her while not forgetting that it is their song after all. AND while working her into the storyline and lore that they have going through their Japanese songs, even in the MV! Literally, making her the guide and basically the hero of the MV. Focusing even the color pallet on her (as they get closer and closer to her as she helps them,and then they cross onto the side she was on and they burn everything down behind them, they go from black and white and blue... to them eventually beginning to gain more and more of the red that she is saturated in.
She and BangChan are quite literally the main focus of the storyline for the MV, with her not only being the hero that saves them but also the one that the MV favors visually. Can't forget the fact that not only was she actually IN the MV, but they were ACTUALLY TOGETHER for the mv. So often, when it comes to features, they aren't even together on the same continent, never mind the same room. But they didn't even stop there... they gave her the coolest set i think i have ever seen, literally putting her on a bloody pedestal and lifting her far above the ground. They LITERALLY couldn't have made her feature ANY MORE about her if they tried, not without they themselves becoming the featured. They couldn't have given her more lines without removing some members completely. Lol (Remember, some of them literally only had a couple limes as it was. They barely got everyone in there, and honestly, I'm blown away by how well they did it. Although basicallyeveryone had to take a massive cut to make her so prominent. Most of the memebers had two parts, some of which were incredibly short. As in two lines, throughout the whole song. While she had like... 16.)
LiSA was truly incorporated throughout the track, she was focused on in the MV, she had depth of character and a place in the storyline that wasn't added post-haste, and she was was highly catered to in the production of the song. However, what i think above all else is important to mention... is the fact that Stray Kids basically have all of their releases for the next 2 years planned. So they can't really just throw something in that doesn't fall into their storyline, not when its a title track. (Even in Japanese title tracks, it's rare to see a feature. Because K-pop is lore driven, they have to be worked into the lore. That's why it's always B-sides you see incorporate features.) Yet they pulled it off. Beautifully. Still, they literally COULDN'T have given her ANY OTHER LINES. Don't forget, this is a Stray Kids song. And their Japanese songs are, in fact, VERY DEEP. Which is very obvious by the words of the song. (Which i would definitely hope cane through even without subtitles. It's very clear and in english, lol.) It would have been wrong to give her parta of the song that has nothing to do with her. Their songs are ALWAYS about them. So the verses of Stray Kids songs (outside the one that Tiger did, but again, that was a B-side so they were able to wrote whole new song for his feature while making sure it was still about them and fit into the theme of the album. After all, write what you know is the golden rule of music.
However, with this being the title track, they had to merge worlds. They couldn't have tacked her onto that if they wanted to!! Lol, that would require that they do exactly what they did. And they did it perfectly. This song is about Chans' very depressing road to debuting, and then members saving him. They managed to STILL produce it around her AND incorporate her to max throughout, by them making HER the one who rescues ALL OF THEM. Like a guide or a muse. After all, she IS a major inspiration for 3RACHA and always has been. Heck, BangChan has her singed album and keeps it next to his bed. Lmao. Meaning that they not only did ALL of that, but they did so in a way that was REAL. She wasn't just playing a part. She was truly playing HER part! And I'm sorry, but it was obviously the only part she could play.... And I'm only saying sorry because you were unhappy with it. But truthfully, it was by far the most generous and thoughtfully done, not to mention respectful futures i have ever seen. Im just sorry that you didn't feel the same.
Out of all the videos i have watched on this, yours is the first i have heard that from.(I'm sure there are a few out there.)So, I must admit, I truly didn't expect you to have that view. I thought you guys knew Stray Kids a little bit better than that and would have found the things i mentioned quite obvious. Maybe that's my fault, though... expectations are very biased... not to mention heavily influenced. And i think mine were influenced by the number of reactors who had never even seen Stray Kids before, still picked up on much of that. So, for my expectations, i apologize. That said, I do hope you come to see what it is we mean when we say that, factually speaking. The reality of this feature strongly disagrees with your personal assessment. Respectfully! Of course.

This was almost perfect, it just wasn't long enough. Just seeing the sets (amazing) and LiSA singing on that beautifully made pedestal was awesome, the color she brought into the song... The back-to-back singing with LiSA then Felix (awesome).. the choreo, the acting, storyline, .. the MV was just made right. Chan has spoken on just how much having LiSA joining in meant to them so he wouldn't just tack her on. Hopefully, (please) the BTS is show more. I would love a dance practice but their relay dance (w/LiSA) is very cute and I don't want to be greedy..(well maybe a little). She definite was not afterthought but a main thought (she should be).

I respect what you say about the time she has on there, and it probably feels like that cause it's a song with 8 vs 1 and she's only singing the hook. It would have been nice if she had her own Japanese verse on this and then joined in the last chorus rather than having all three choruses with a similar vibe. A lotta people here are pointing out that she had the greatest line distribution, which is valid, but I think it's hard for her to shine on a track where she can't control the dynamics during the verses to set up well at the hook. There was also the option of changing the mood of the chorus by singing it in Japanese at the end rather than English but that's just my opinion.
I honestly love the song anyway. There are always things that can be changed in any song to suit anyone's preference so I'm just gonna enjoy listening to the music. Im for the reasons youve stated. There's just a blurred line or nuance to "not seeing more of her" that can get nonsensical which has led alot of comments,like i did, to respond with "she sang the hook (called it a chorus coz i didnt know better)" or "she has a recurring presence in the song". As you say, Japanese verses would have made more sense since as most singers, it's her native tongue and sings best with it (kinda like how Changbin retained his Korean verse despite Mirror Mirror being Thai) and the fact that Changbin and Han had Japanese verses here
Nonetheless, features do have its own intentions. It can be like Tiger JK or Changbin flexing their own verse in a song and poof, that's it. Or featuring an artist's voice, like LiSA does on here.

I guess most people are more used to a feat. with a verse instead of chorus, if you watch the MV you might understand the message. This song is based on Chan’s personal experience but can relate to anyone else’s experiences/feeling as well. LiSA is a successful singer from Japan who have been through hardships to be where she is now. In this song LiSA is represent as skz’s future that’s why she got the chorus part, the “peak moment”, skz’s goal. And her rockish voice character really suit the music well, the contrast with Felix’s and the harmonize with skz really stand out. Thank you for your reaction and love for Stray Kids.

Their songs "I'm here!" and "what do I do" are soo good and people are sleepin on em and its driving me crazy. Big "chill neighborhood roller rink vibes" with this group. I do agree with the guys. I absolutely love Lisa's voice and her work. Stray Kidz are the only Boy Group that I officially stan (majorily a girl group stan here), so I was really happy and excited to see them on a song together. The song itself is really good, but It is true that the song in some ways feels modularly put together. Just because Lisa has a third of the song in line distribution, it doesn't mean that the song (or more spcifically their vocal lines) jibes well together. Though it sounds good, it does feel like they added on Lisa's vocal after the song was mostly finished. It seems like there was a time crunch and they didn't have time to add adlibs and harmonies with her throughout the song...something that Lisa is known for in her music. At the end of the day, though the song is really good (I've added it to my tops of the year list on Spotify), it does feel like it's slightly unfinished or that somethings were left on the table.

It wasn’t really supposed to be anything extra just a feature they wanted to do with liSA, keep in mind this song was mostly sang in English so her voice might not come out as strong as some people might think! I agree with you Ace and partly with Dame. I wanted more LiSA. The problem is Stray Kids has 8 members and they all need a part, plus LiSA. KPop doesn't harmonize much in comparison with other genre, but it would've been much better if she could have done that on the rest of the chorus. Plus some adlibs. Something that made her feel like she belonged and not just tacked on for the collab part. I LOVE LiSA's op/Ed for anime. I was looking forward to this but am kinda disappointed.
I understand what you're saying but not really. It's stray kids (ft. liSA) not liSA (ft.stray kids) If you look individually at the line distribution I'm pretty sure liSA gets more lines compared to most of them individually, and like you said stray kids is 8 so they all need to have their part if not several parts because again, it's stray kids (ft. liSA)
@@k-popedits4664 Everyone always wants to point at the line distribution, but honestly, if the persons voice fits the song they should get more lines. This is a collab. You utilize the person you're bringing in, and in my opinion, they did not.
@@kageisuke Yeah because the line distribution proves that she had more lines than all of the members in Stray Kids lmao. She did not need to have the most lines in the song because first off she's just a feature, not a callab (Technically a callab is a situation in which two or more people work together to create, achieve, or promote something.) She didn't help create anything... They simply asked her if she wanted to be a part of the song, gave her lyrics to sing and that's it. Second of all, Bang Chan knew what he wanted for the song because, after all, the song is about him... Why would he want HER to be telling most of HIS story? That doesn't make any sense. I understand what you're trying to say but if you want to listen to her so bad, listen to her solo songs lol
@@k-popedits4664 I really have to find whatever line distribution you keep talking about, because 30% off the song? Really? She barely feels like she's in it. If you're so stuck on your idea, okay. Agree to disagree, but you replied to me, not the other way around, and your attitude isn't going to convince me that she wasn't used well in this song. It just makes you sound like a jerk telling me to "just go listen to her song then lol".

So what I'm getting from the comments.... and it was tough, I had to really sort through some subtle clues, is that SKZ are remarkable and wonderful and perfect because they DEIGNED to allow LiSA to have as many... nay even MORE lines than some of the members. And that by daring to, for a moment, question whether a little more than that be on the track then TRC have, once again, shown they are not in tune with how REAL Stay thing and act.
This is because of how much Hybe is paying them of course. Or possibly because they hate Aespa. I've lost track now of the reason why they don't react to things the way people want them too.
