Nikon please, on next firmware version 3.0 I would like to see the top Control Panel display to be a little brighter and with more contrast when I turn it on
A key difference a lot of folks care about is exposure delay persists even it the camera goes to sleep or is turned off, where the self timer will reset (i.e. back to single shot). The other benefits were obviously stronger for DSLRs, but can still be useful - because exposure delay just changes the sequence of actions, as soon as you press the shutter button it'll first set the exposure (i.e. moving the aperture blades) and focus, before it starts the delay - so this further minimises any mechanical vibration etc.

But what is the difference between timers and exposure delay mode? I get that it made a difference with dslrs but now?
