Very nice video, not only are your videos gold dust as far as Dota 2 coaching is concerned, but the opening quips and your personality shine through making already useful videos engaging and enjoyable. Very glad you've continued to produce content and hope you continue to enjoy making these as much as I do watching them.
thumbs up if u run out of soap and shamefully use shampoo instead Edit: USING THIS MEME TO POINT OUT I FORGOT TO EDIT OUT AN INCORRECT ROSHAN RESPAWN TIMER. It respawns in 8-11 minutes. But my point is it's random, and that's why you need to leave the courier. Edit: fixed it thx youtube editor
Used to do this every game when neutral items first came out, doesn't seem worth it anymore as you essentially lose the tree the second someone walks by, wasting the potential mangoes you could have gotten simply placing it in base. It worked the first couple games where people were still figuring out what the fuck items do, but a week into release placing mango tree next to rosh became the oldest trick in the book
@@-ne0nlightning Such a waste putting free vision by placing into base, I usually place it in the triangle jungle near the stairs, people tend to forget that it's there
@@ralph4466 Yes, I think so. At least, that's where I put it (people don't see it much near your secret shop because they're unlikely to position so aggressively in the first 15 mins of the game) This also lets you quickly pick up mangoes and nuke the enemy jungle (works with underlord lvl 5 or any hero with weave clear)
Andi Adrial Patoppoi imagine doing a chill rosh when all enemy team’s dead and when you kill him all those 5 couriers jump out of nowhere on you like those homeless kids at McDonald’s. “Sir, you wanna clean your windshield?” “No” “Lemme clean it for you sir. Got some change?”

Thanks for these tips man! I've been owning offlane with the courier sniping wards and giving the 3 position the xp when the wave comes under the tower
2:19 how does this let you get the creep wave outside of your tower? I've been having trouble finding good info on controlling waves and how to get them closer to the offlaner tower. EDIT: Nevermind, I missed the part about rebounding.
if enemy support have skill provides vision, they will just put sentry near cliff and use skill to get vision and deward anyway. works well only when enemy support does not have such skill and have to put sentry directly on the cliff(or use courier to deward)
The ward trick is pretty cool and should stay, makes hero's who have spells that give vision more useful and still requires them to spend a mana/time to know the sneaky ward is there. As for the creep blocking in the bottom lane, they need to nerf that by delaying dire side or just make that lane phased or something.
holy crap that is actually so good. And the courier mechanics are something I definitely would not have thought of, I don't feel like icefrog thought of it either. This definitely seems unexpectedly strong
DO NOT block the enemy wave if as Jenkins pointed out that the enemy has a power spike at lvl 2. For example, I play a lot of drow and when I see people do this, often times, it just helps me. Because when I hit 2, I can zone them from gettting level 2 and can hit 3 before they even hit 2 themselves.
In that first tips, u can counter it by placing your item in that spot thus revealing i think small amount of vision. therefore u can deward without the needs to put sen3 and obs altogether,
Usually when these get blocked. My supports body the enemy creeps at the edge of the tower range until our wave meets them. Ofc considering enemy heroes so it doesnt happen all the time
Excellent video as usual Jenkins, I really think you give the best advice on Dota, advice that matters even if it's not "flashy". I have something to ask though, since today I just uninstalled the game after just one week of playing. I decided to give the game a go after like 4 years of quitting (battle pass and your videos brought me back) and man I was disappointed ... the hacks are huge. My friends started sending me a couple of replays everyday showing some very very obvious hacking. I googled and it turned out to be real. Why isn't this addressed by the community influencers? I'm not singling you out but I think you're really the most genuine speaker out there. All the big Dota channels don't speak about this. Dota turned out to be hackable big time, every other game is full of hacks on both sides; you place a ward, you teleport, you attack neutrals you trigger their hack ... it's a circus. It even happens in tournaments. If pros are doing it then what about regular players? I was just taking a break from a losing spree (1-9 because maybe I still have my old mmr although now I suck hard since I haven't played for years) and decided to watch one of the featured live matches ... guess what it's full of hackers on both sides and everyone was commenting and laughing about this. But here, all the youtube channels are ignoring this ... before we play the game we should fix it. I don't care how valve balances the heroes, or how they change the AP mode or how cool the next arcana is or whatever. How about you just fix the game valve? Why isn't anyone saying this? Something is fishy .. none of the big youtube dota channels ever bring this up ... they talk about mmr boosts or about smurfing but like no one brings up hacking which is way worse ... what's happening to people? Did they all sign an NDA about hacking or something?? Is it like a taboo or something for casters/streamers? Since you're on the other side, any clue on why this is particularly ignored? Is it just too ugly to bring up? Don't they care? People will quit if this keeps going on ... I would appreciate some honesty and if I expect it from someone it would be from you.
Rosh spawns 8-11 minutes after its death. Very nice content. I'll definitely look into stealing cheese/aghs/refresher shard since my team is usually reluctant to take roshan and enemy team usually ends up taking it xD
What's really broken and you didn't mentioned is placing disco ball from the consumables on top of your head and TP-ing back to base where enemies simply cannot click you.
But I like Dire's offlane. Smh it's easier to double-stack hard camp and ancient camp (if you're pos 4), and you can cheat by having ward *almost* on radiant's hg near outpost (the one explained on video, I have used it since long ago). It's OP if you want to prevent rotation and stealing outpost is safer.
i've seen a moment when AWF put 2 sentries to deward the obs like you show and haven't found it. He put sentries between two cliffs and tried to find obs with his courier but he didn't found in the end
If I ever get my items stolen by a courier I am coming for you jenkins.
ikr, now I am gonna have to watch out for couriers stealing my god dam rosh items
oh my gahd hahhahahaha jenkins reported hahaha

Online class with Jenkins is very useful
Unlike school ones
Yeah.. I won't even touch any chemicals, yet need to learn about it

I tried so kuch of his guides but the problem is either the enemy support is good or my support steals last hits from me

Jenkins had already made a lot of guides for Gameleap in the past. His guides on how to play support are the actual reason I followed him.

Laugh at them when they die because the wave is too far forward
