Tyre pressure seems pretty unrealistic the way you said since higher pressures would deforms the tyre making it more round and less surface of the tyre would contact the ground. On the other hand low pressures would make the tyre flat, more contact on the ground, more wear and higher temps.
I might be wrong in what I said, but I think in real life it should work that way.
