The local hospital played this song the morning my mom was ushered out by angels into the presence of Jesus
Sometimes you may be looking for a song and God leads you to just the one that touches you in a special way
My Dad passed away 3 weeks ago. For months, he asked to have this song played at his funeral. We honored his wish and now this song takes on a deeper, more personal meaning. Such a sweet, beautiful song ❤
Prayers for you on this Father's day. Lord brought me here cause I was struggling and saw your comment. I can imagine my deceased dad singing this in the presence of the Lord!
my prayers go out to you 🙏🏾🫶🏾 i lost my dad that same year and its still not easy for me. truly a beautiful song
RIP Dottie Rambo .. now sheltered in the arms of God .. thank you for your inspired songwriting
This beautiful song was written by Dottie Rambo. She lived in Madisonville, Ky......about 50 miles from me.
I samg this song to my Dad on the he was ushered by angels out of this world and into the arms of God. My Father was a Pentecostal Minister. He loved God and he was the best Dad a girl could ask for. But, sadly he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung Cancer. He was in the Hospital for a while. He never once asked for pain meds. When the Nurses would ask him why he wasn't taking any meds. He would reply, "because I'm not in any pain". (Stage 4 Lung Cancer, without any pain! That's just shows how good our God truly is, y'all!) As I sung this song, Pop's room began to fill up with concerned family and friends. They all held each other's hands, as I held Pop's and continued singing to him. The room was full of people, but I hadn't really noticed it. My focus was solely on the grief of losing my super hero. But, an amazing thing happened as I softly sang. I felt a hand on my shoulder. Then, I heard a sweet and familiar voice join me in song. It was one of our Dear family friends from church, Sister Slaubaugh. In that very difficult moment, she was there with me. Pouring God's love into me, with her simple act of heartfelt compassion and kindness. Reminding me, that God's love transcends the boundaries of this life and all of the crushing days that go with it. As the two of us sang this song together, the others in the room joined in. Soon, the presence of the Lord filled the room. I'm sure we were off key and our tears probably caused our voices to tremble and crack. But to me, all of those family and friends singing Pop into Heaven, was nothing but angelic. It was so powerful, that even the Nurses came running in to see what was going on in Pop's room. The room was filled with such immense love and gratitude, for a life lived in service to God, family, and others. It was both one of the most difficult days of my life and one of the most beautiful days as well. In Two days, it will be the Eighth Anniversary of Pop's graduation from this life, into his Heavenly Home. I always get a bit emotional around this time. So, I found myself unable to sleep tonight. I was flipping through RUclips, when I came across this song. Whenever I hear it now, it serves a reminder to me of a few wonderful things God showed me that night in Pop's Hospital room. It reminds me of the immense beauty that God shelters us with. To protect our heart's in the midst of great pain. Of the wonderful family and friends, that He provides us with. Loved ones to encourage and inspire us, in our life's journey. Of the fact, that even on our darkest of days and in our deepest of pain, God sees our tears, knows our pain, and He'll never leave our side. Instead, He holds us and loves us through it all. He brings light to our darkness. He makes beauty out of the ugliest of circumstances. He gives restoration and healing for all our brokeness. But most importantly, I'm reminded that He offers us all forgiveness and grace. So that just like my sweet Pop, we too can be joined with Him and our loved ones in our eternal Heavenly Home, some sweet day. Sheltered safely in the arms of God! 🙏
I’m living in Minneapolis during a period of great unrest. Here’s the song the Lord put in my heart when I awoke this morning.
Dottie Rambo is the Fanny Crosby of the 20th century. What a blessing to have had her recordings.
EVERY TIME I HEAR BEN LACY SPEER SING THIS SONG NOW, I CRY. 😢.
I CAN'T GET JUNE 16,2001, AND, ESPECIALLY, JUNE 16, 2000 OUT OF MY MIND BECAUSE, ON THOSE 2 NIGHTS, AFTER THE CONCERTS YOU HAD, I GOT TO MEET BEN SPEER! HE WAS SWEET TO ME! HE SPENT A TOTAL OF 20 MINUTES ENCOURAGING ME! I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM FOR THAT!
I'm sheltered in the arms of God. This song is so beautiful
Am sheltered in hands of God forever ,he's been so faithful to me and am forever grateful
I KNOW THAT THIS VIDEO, WITH THIS SONG, WAS DONE BACK IN 2018, BUT, THIS SONG TOOK ON A NEW MEANING FOR ME CHRISTMAS DAY IN 2001, WHEN MY GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY! WHAT A BLESSING; THANK YOU!

My grandmother was killed in a car wreck back in 1998 which song this song at her funeral and it gives me peace and comfort knowing that we will be sheltered In The Arms Of God one day cuz I know she is sheltered in the arms of him as of now
THIS SONG TAKES ME BACK TO WHEN BEN SUNG IT AT THE 2000 CONCERT! WOW!
Thought of my younger days in the seventies, three Fijian ladies used to sing this song in an AG church near Suva, Fiji.
Was a blessing then, and still now, God has sheltered me through all those times.
God touched me in a very special way as l heard this song for the very first time. Thank you God,for this touch.
Assistindo pela milésima vez!
Pls shelter us lord every moment in this life and world and end this pandemic 🙏🙏🙏
I so love their music. I'm 66 and have heard so much gospel music!! My Uncle Ken used to sing with The Keys. Now he's on oxygen and turning 86 on the 10th of this month. He and his wife are my earthly parents. I'm going to see them in the next week and am so excited. God Bless you for your beautiful voices!🙏🙏😇😇🎶🎶
Just sent this beautiful video to a couple who moved away to another state for better assisted living care. I just happened upon it and think God showed it to me to send. Jane and Jim, we live you!
This is the reason I had no fear when we went through the storm ! This is the truth and I am never afraid, no matter what comes !
I woke up this morning with this song in my heart and started singing. I haven’t heard this song in years. It’s a reminder He is with us in the deepest of all storms and I thank Him for it. Praise His name.
Ben was born with a song in his heart and soul. He gave it back to God, and the world. My favorite song he sang was "Unworthy."
He sang it when they were in South Africa. Find it and give it a listen. My Father and I used to sing it. It's a wonderful song.
Thank you Bill and Gloria Gaither for the wonderful Gospel music you've given us! I sit and listen to your wonderful music on my I Pad every chance I get. I get more from your music than I do from my Minister!
Sheltered safe within the arms of God. Amen.
Halleluyah
Today I attended the funeral of one of the nicest ladies that I have ever known at a local United Methodist Church. A soloist sang this. We will all miss you, Ms. Thelma.

This morning this song is realy making me feel save and sheltered and loved in the arms of God. No matter what is going on in my live. I am going to sing this song as if it is written just for me.
ARE YOU IN GOD'S ARMS
I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender
They're leading me in paths that I must try
I'll have no fear
When Jesus walks beside me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They don't worry me
For I'm sheltered, safe, within the arms of God
He walks with me
And no divert shall harm me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
Soon I shall feel the cold from Heaven's portals
Come home my child
It's the last mile you must trot
Then I'll fall asleep and wake up in God's new-held arms
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They don't worry me
For I'm sheltered, safe, within the arms of God
He walks with me
And no divert can harm me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
Sheltered, safe within the arms of God, oh
Ooh, ooh
Thank you for posting this. Maybe FB automatically changed some of the words, but for those who don’t know:
He walks with me
and not a word can harm me…
Soon I shall hear the call from heaven’s portals
“Come home, my child, it’s the last mile you must trod.”
I’ll fall asleep and wake in God’s new heaven.
The one who dislike i don't condem because i know the work of the demons
May the Lord bless the like as well as the dislike
