I grew up listening to Hank Sr! Still love his music! My daddy played guitar and sang many of Hanks gospel songs in church. My grandchildren sing I’ll fly away and I saw the light to his you tube tracks in church to this day!! All the church kids love those two songs!!!🥰🥰🥰 your daddy has always been a part of my life through his music. I’m 62 years old.
Only Jesus can make us whole. The only one who died, came back to life and lives to walk beside us through the good times and tough times! I cannot imagine life without Him. He is there for anyone who recognizes they need a savior and call on Him with a heart seeking forgiveness and believing He died for YOU! I have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, at the top of my list is Jesus, my Abba, my "daddy", my constant companion.
My family has loved watching the Gathers when we could watch them some years ago. Mark was a great gentleman as he always had fun with the other singers.
I was a secretary on the Yorba Linda Friends Church staff in Yorba Linda, California back in the 80s when Jody was "just" an up and coming soon-to-be-known singer/musician in the Christian music world. He was not only an awesome Music Minister but kind, generous and a lot of fun whenever he came into my office. Those were the days;. So good to see him here with this awesome quartet.
Luke... I heard his voice on tik tok first, a couple a years ago. Since then I wished he sang with you guys. Please, more songs with him. P. S. Love you Guy. You look like allot alike my father.
This particular performance wasn’t practiced. A few years ago these singers were at Liberty University for their 50 year anniversary and they pulled Luke out of the audience at random. He said he’d figure it out as they sang. That’s why they were surprised at well he sang
Saw Luke on American Idol last year…he was amazing, after his audition they had him sing Frosty the Snowman, lol, he sounded out of this world especially considering he didn’t even know the song…damn youth, lol.
I cannot support any person who claims Gospel Music and Gospel conversion getting up and walking out on people saying to them, "I've been here for a while. I don't have time for you," at a convention that they booked to MEET people. No explanation, no statements asking to be excused. Only rude-ness and that only when THEY weren't the main focus in that area. This was experienced by Mark to me and others.
I’ve stood on stage with people like mike English and David Phelps multiple times and I can tell you that george blended way better than this guy knows how to do.
The Bible says it’s a disgrace for a man to have hair as a woman. Guy has sung these songs for so many years yet he has never let the truth of them come into his heart and soul.
@@JohnMarsh769 It's people like you that make others not want to go to a church. You'll have to cite the verse where it shows God walking around with a ruler to judge exactly how long one's hair has to be before it crosses into a disgrace.
