Great tutorial. Thanks Tony. In my case, I use another technique using tag expression. It is also applicable to steps percent bar. I find it more accurate percent by percent. Then combine it with battery timeline for red indicator when low battery. For the colorful progress bar, I use static image with the color in it then overlayed with transparent top layer that is run by tag expression. :) It's a little bit complicated though when settings the right parameter of tag expression.
Love it! Tag expressions are another great way to control movement. @@SamsungDevelopersHi how can I add battery icon from watch and from mobile phone ? I have face from Google play And I see 2 icons battery. 1 from mobile 1 from watch (gw6) 😮
Hi Tony, would be nice to show how can I design a face that can set of an alarm when you reach a high stress level, I gpt a code from IA but dont know how to apply it, I am shure its very useful, best regrds Carlos Briones from Mexico
There isn't a more straight forward way to teach this... Perfect. I was able to accomplish the same. What if I would like to replace the icon below the bar with another image in case of charging the device? I'm looking for a way to use the [BATT_IS_CHARGE] to change que oppacity of a image... I want all my other battery images to goes 0% oppacity and leave only the "charging" image with 100% opaccity... but I didn't find a way to do it.
Thank you for the feedback. I just can not connect my watch. I read that this program is not compatible with the watch 4 classic. It's there a program that works with my watch 4
I did one today, instead of having 20ish pictures, I have a green picture, that I change using the y + px formula (no idea how to call it). I can't change the sizing so I put it full size under, then make it rise with the tag expression : battery / 100 * (height of the gauge) * -1 to make it rise
Yes, using the same concept as this video simply make PNG files in Photoshop for the different curved progress levels, and then show/hide in the Battery timeline. I would recommend each PNG be the same size as the watch face background, but saved as a transparent PNG with only the progress bar graphic showing. This will make it easier for you to align them all to center.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. Is there a way to add a charging animation as well? I've been looking for a feature or method for that, but I cannot find it anywhere. :(
Hello Tony, I downloaded the Watch Studio, the release note says - Due to Galaxy Watch OS version update to Tizen 4.0, user may have to re-create distributor certificate. Does this mean it is better to build in Tizen Studio instead?
Given there seems to be no other viable route to get an answer on this, when will a working version of GWS be available for Mac OSX Big Sur. The OS has been out for months now, and anyone using the current version of the software cannot now do anything with GWS. Disappointing Samsung hasn't updated yet, given they would have had access to a beta months before the official release...
So it lets you add a "progress bar" within the studio, but you have to manually create every 10% of batter animation?! That's ridiculous! I just lost interest in wasting hours to make a nice face for my watch :(
More of these please, succinct, informative, and easily followed :-)
Glad you liked!
I need help for the all new version of WFS
I think this will be my first try doing a watch face :)

Nice one! My Question is, are there people who design these studios?
Thank you for the video! I made a really cool video game one, I am excited!
So many opportunities to get creative with this.
i would love to see how my phone battery is shown on my watch ;)

Yes, you will want to use Watch Face Studio, developer.samsung.com/watch-face-studio/overview.html

Is there a way to create a battery life bar that goes around the face. Like an outline

Glad you like the video! Unfortunately, there is not a way in Galaxy Watch Studio to add an animation while charging.

No, it is not possible to show when the device is charging.
