I've been repairing cars for nearly 30 years and this is just plain dangerous. All structural integrity has gone from the front end. You do NOT apply heat to high strength steels!!
this guy has cut literally a bmw 7 (almost) in half, then welded the back side from another 7 series. Imagine that car running on the high way with 2 cars welded on the middle.... it seems that in that part of the world there are no laws regadding safety. p.s. he just deleted that video.
He's from Baltic states, in Europe, from Lithuania. Many cars from there come like that, some are even welded from 3 cars. So in my country, Latvia (we are neighbors), we need to be really careful not to buy car like that.
Mosquito yes I have. ATA senior body technician, ATA senior met technician and trained jaguar land rover aluminium repair technician.why do you say I haven't?
Interesting video. Doing any kind of metal work certainly alters how the metal will behave, but people seem over exaggerate and think that it will turn their metal to plastic. Metal work won't turn a fender bender into some disastrous accident, and if you get into a head on collision at 50 mph, your odds aren't going to be great in any car. The question is all the things in the middle, and frankly, it doesn't seem like anyone has done any kind of real testing. Yes, we know how doing X to metal Y changes it's attributes in isolation, but the metal is not in isolation in a car. The VW Arthur repaired in the video isn't going to be as strong as an undamaged car if it gets hit in the same place again, but I'm willing to bet that it is still way safer than a comparable car from 10 years ago that hasn't had any work done, or even smaller cars from the same generation.
+Alexander Telichko

You have not repairing cars for nearly 30 years.
Buen desabollador .lo sigo en su canal. Me gustan sus trabajos.
omg that is so dangerous repairing UHSS like that. like previous comments never heat UHSS material
+Alexander Telichko
Pri teste NCAP 100% masina viderjit s usloviem 60KM/H, a vishe 60KM/H bez raznitzi kakoi metal budet gretii ne gretii kak povezet!
Arthur tussik
