Her top end speed is the best since Elvlyn Ashford from the 80’s and early 90’s. Shelly, give us a start like you did in the World Championship finals 100m, in 2009 and 2013. If you do that Shelly, not even Sha’Carri Richardson will catch you. For the men Kishane Thompson will drop a 9’65 sec for the 100m, becoming the second fastest human ever, only behind Bolt. His strength and smoothness will prevail.
I was a bit worried that we falling aback in our Dominance and Supremacy in Track and Field. @@vigilant_1934 US is going to go 1-2 gold, Silver in Paris. Lyles is a beast, no doubt about it. He's been building towards this since Toyko. Our men are hungry and ready.
That’s what’s it’s about CONSISTENCY in performances. Can’t be blasting it in qualifying heats and failing in finals by not placing when it truly matters. Bolt showed the way and Thompson is doing it. Finally Oblique is getting his races together by showing progressive times though qualifying rounds instead of declining times. Sprint Factory is well prepared as preparation between Tokyo and Paris Olympics is 3 years and the Jamaican coaches are fully intuned by staying away from too many international meets and Diamond League. Damn method to their continued SUCCESSES!!
Great video. Regarding Bryan Levell - he was super talented as a junior and has had some injuries and a slow transition from junior to senior. He's been running great this year and won the 200m title
I'm super excited to see who will make the podium. I agree with your assessment concerning the favorites and why. Consistency and the ability to perform under pressure is the key to great Olympic performances. At Olympic level sprinting, what was done in your trials is irrelevant. Great video!
My bets are on the Jamaicans because we've seen this before. The seemingly "out of nowhere" sprinter a la Marcell Jacobs who takes gold in dominant fashion. Look, I really like Noah but I can't help thinking he's a 200m special talent who's just moonlighting the 100m. He's been able to get away with it because no one's running under 9.80 until now. Totally impressive performance by Kishane. He'll be hard to beat.
Asafa Powell with mental fortitude?! Good to see Kishane's body hold up after running 3 rounds in response to Noah! Not only is the M100m now on for sure in Paris, but also the M4x1 with Ackeem, Oblique & Kishane in JAM's Team, would be nice to have Andrew Hudson back in 10.0/19.8 PB shape to also be in that pool! NGL, I'm so pissed off about Shaunae who simply needed to jump into the 400m @BAH Trials & run a relatively easy 50.95 to qualify for Paris inexplicably jump into the more explosive 200m, get injured & now can't defend her Olympic 400m Title in Paris, just don't understand the bizarre decisions ppl sometimes make! There'll now be no defending W100/200/400/800m Olympic Champions in Paris :(
Asafa with mental fortitude would have people shaking in their boots. Now imagine the fact that Francis said Kishane is better than Asafa. Not sure in what regard, but we can see that he is stromger than Asafa mentally. Kishane STOMPSON is gonna be a problem.
@@khumokwezimashapa2245how u know he is better mentally? He will have to prove that he is mentally better in paris. I think he is better than asafa in terms of times asafa ran at the same age!
@@unconventionalcrosy52 To be honest fam. There's no way to 100% prove it, but I'll tell you why I believe it. From what I've seen of him since China last year. He hasn't faltered against sprinters close to his caliber like Coleman, Lyles, Coleman and Omanyala. In relation to Asafa. He would faulty against guys who were near his caliber even at non major championships. For example in 2012 when Powell raced Gatlin in Doha. Asafa got a better start then Gatlin, but faded towards the end to lose. Another example is also in 2012 when Bolt ran 9.76. Asafa give up running 9.91 to Bolt. Both of these exmaple are from Diamond Leagues. Now to be fair Asafa was injured that year, so maybe it was due to that. However we fans know that was very consistent of him. Kishane hasn't shown any signs of that at all. Now I will agree with you that he has to prove himself in Paris, because almost all of Asafa's failures came at the Worlds or Olympics. But to somewhat play Devil's advocate here. Asafa has beaten big names before. He's beaten Bolt, Gay, Gatlin and Blake while they themselves were in great shape, but then he underperforms. Kishane could be just like that, but we don't know until Paris.
I've noticed with Stephen Francis when it comes to Olympic year he tries to make his athletes peek at the right time world championships year it's a little different and I think that's what he's doing with shericka Jackson but I can't get over the fact she has put on some weight and I must say it's a deterrent My top 3 for the Olympic 100m title Sha'carri Richardson Shericka Jackson Julian Alfred.
Hey bro, I would like for u to listen to the post race interview by Kishane Thompson, he was told to Run 60-70 meters and shut it down look at the race again before u speak about anythingin the menn's 100m
He didn't say anything wrong so what are you talking about? Take a breath and listen to this video again and pay attention because you're being defensive for no reason.
I totally forgot about Kishane pulling up this year…thanks for the reminder. This is one thing I keep thinking about looking at his performances…he’s running in a way that makes me think he’s gonna pull up. I just keep thinking he looks like he’s all grit running those fast times, it looks like the 80’s East European women who were juiced, and it’s weird to see someone running that way today, as it appears it will cause injury. The Olympic trials rounds will be much tougher, so I’m wondering what he does. Regarding the women, wow, I’m not shocked by the changing of the Guard and Tia looking absolutely amazing; she’s been improving tremendously all year in noteworthy fashion. Shelly does look like this is truly where she is…she was all the way on the gas each time she stepped out of the blocks and although she looks fast, this appears to be the fastest she can go right now. I too agree 10.84 for Shericka right now is a good sign if it is a result of being loaded, but we shall see! I’m excited to see the great competition. Excellent video!
I don't believe that Noah Lyles has creditable competition in the 200m but Kishane Thompson looked like he has a better start and faster transition to top end in the 100m than Noah Lyles.
Kishane is going through a lot, he lost his Dad a few months ago. So he has that mentally dealing with as well and that was close to the time he pulled up.
Good races. Especially from Thompson. The men 100m will be stacked. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and may the best man win at Parris💯 I personally still have Noah as the favorite to win.
Bryan Levell is not new to international track and field..he is 20+, was in the 2022 world under 20 200m finals. He ran the second leg on silver medal winnings 4x100m teams at the world under 20 in 2021 and 2022
i think Shericka will do the double. she is peaking at the right time. i have always believed that Sherika just needs to realize and believe that she is the dominant player in the 100m . I think that is why she didn't win last year.
I don't know what you are talking about. She felt she was the dominate last year and the look on her face when she lost said it all. She did not expect ShaCarri to beat her.
I just don’t see this. I love her and she’ll probably win the 200 but Sha’Carri is easily in 10.6 form right now with her poor starts. She can walk down Shericka any time she wants to.
You've neglected to mention that Omanyala ran his fastest times at high altitude in Kenya. Also if you say Sha'Carri is the favourite based in time, then the same yardstick should be used for the men! Notwithstanding the fact that Americans always have their trials at very fast tracks, possibly the same one. The only 'sure' gold medal for Lyles in my opinion is the 200m.
Hope so, but age could have caught up with her. In the Janaican trials, she was beaten by 19 year old Tia Clayton. Frankly, this doesn't augur well for SAFP. I hope I'm wrong because she's my favourite sprinter!
I think that Steven Francis needs to get professional doctors to help these athletes so that they can have longevity. We all saw what happens to Elaine… He tends to love experimenting and it works up to a point. It’s like holding the athletes hostage…

We all love Shelly but I don't see her defeating Shacarri or Sherika.
I was a bit worried that we falling aback in our Dominance and Supremacy in Track and Field. Usain in retirement, Shelly Ann in the Lounge of Retirement, Elaine in long-term recovery and Sherika started out a bit shaky are the reasons for me thinking like this. .But low and behold all my fears have Dissappeared. Nuff Respect Guys.. Paris here we come!!😊
Jamaica will go 1-2 gold, silver in Paris. No doubt about it. Dude was a beast. I'm shocked but let's face reality they've been building towards this. Their men are hungry and ready.

@@lopenlas That's not a rebuttal. Provide your analysis of why you think differently like an intelligent adult.
@@vigilant_1934 US is going to go 1-2 gold, Silver in Paris. Lyles is a beast, no doubt about it. He's been building towards this since Toyko. Our men are hungry and ready.
You need to do uploads more often man. I enjoy the content
Bro I never heard of you before today but after watching for a few minutes I subscribed...you know your shit .. Jamai 1 2 in Paris
I mean Shelly won gold on her first Olympics so you will never know what Tia could do you never know what could happen.
This year was the first year he has been able to train as his injury has been managed and solved properly.
Tia is 19!!!
Bryan Level is new on the senior scene but hes been a top junior athlete for years and so we arent surprised. Much like Tia Clayton.
@@fredball8240100% agreed bro. You're spot on about Noah also.👏👏
Have to do it on the big stage. Rohan Watson fizzled last year
Asafa Powell with mental fortitude?!
Thanks for the info,I was waiting for her to show up😢
@@unconventionalcrosy52 To be honest fam.
Hold up I just read your full comment. Miller Uibo not going to Paris is absolutely sending me 😡.
What the hell lead her to that?
I've noticed with Stephen Francis when it comes to Olympic year he tries to make his athletes peek at the right time world championships year it's a little different and I think that's what he's doing with shericka Jackson but I can't get over the fact she has put on some weight and I must say it's a deterrent
My top 3 for the Olympic 100m title
Sha'carri Richardson
Shericka Jackson
Julian Alfred.
Told you long ago about Kishane....recall that please.
Dont underestimate Tina she run a lot for the youth meets around the world shelly was very young winning medal in olympic
Very good analysis
I think it is going to take 9.7 to get on the podium and 9.6 to win. This has the potential to be legendary.
No.
@wss33 Don't you think Noah, Oblique, and kishane are not capable of all running 9.7 if the conditions are good?
@@TommyGator92 Yup as well as Kerly who besides Kishane is someone who has run 9.7 before.
Allz I'm sayin is there's a few more weeks for oblique to get to 9.7.. and for to kishane run 9.6. 100m gonna be straight fire
Love your cast, Keep it up!!
Unnu think wi did done??? No man wi just a come.....
Seville needs some more density on his frame and Thompson doesn't need any more muscle on his frame.
Seville is lean and dense already. He's just slim. He doesn't need to get bulky and slower.
Well said mate. Pretty much agree across the board.👏👏👏
stephen Francis actually said she's in 2022 shape which is not far from what she did 10.78/10.77 vs 10.84
He was class one high school champion 100m 200 m from Walcott - Shelly coach St Elizabeth Tech high school
🇯🇲 land we love
May the Father continue to guide and keep them healthy though the Olympics
😊
Bryan Levell left high school a yr or 2 ago was a quality athlete from then
I don't believe that Noah Lyles has creditable competition in the 200m but Kishane Thompson looked like he has a better start and faster transition to top end in the 100m than Noah Lyles.
The clock disagrees with you
@@Wideout4 How so? He ran a leisurely 19.60 200m yesterday, albeit with a 2.5 mph wind. We'll know more tonight.
@@Wideout4in what regards?
Kishane is going through a lot, he lost his Dad a few months ago. So he has that mentally dealing with as well and that was close to the time he pulled up.
The Jamaicans left you flabbergasted...good for you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sensible analysis 👍
Good races. Especially from Thompson. The men 100m will be stacked. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and may the best man win at Parris💯
I personally still have Noah as the favorite to win.
Love the conversations in the comments
kishane will win if he stay injured free . He had the greatest coach in the history of the sports
Congratulations 🍾🎊🎈🎉 to you 🎊🎉😘🥰❤️👏🏼🔥🎈👍🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🙏🙏🙏
I am hoping that injury will not plague Kishane Thompson. Since this often plagued him
You are doing a good job, bro.
Bryan Levell is not new to international track and field..he is 20+, was in the 2022 world under 20 200m finals. He ran the second leg on silver medal winnings 4x100m teams at the world under 20 in 2021 and 2022
I was waiting 😂😂
i think Shericka will do the double. she is peaking at the right time. i have always believed that Sherika just needs to realize and believe that she is the dominant player in the 100m .
Dat a your podium him nah go pon dat! He’s going on the Olympic podium
He didn't pull up Coach told him to shut it down at 60
😮 and he still ran 9.77 ,boy it's scary to think how much faster he can go
@@lincolnclarke3989 He's talking about Kishane's other race before the trials. If you watched the trials you know he didn't pull up 60m in.
In his first race of the season right?
Levell, just out of high school. The oldest of the top 4 is 23
You've neglected to mention that Omanyala ran his fastest times at high altitude in Kenya. Also if you say Sha'Carri is the favourite based in time, then the same yardstick should be used for the men! Notwithstanding the fact that Americans always have their trials at very fast tracks, possibly the same one. The only 'sure' gold medal for Lyles in my opinion is the 200m.
With God ❤❤❤🇯🇲
good morning Shelly will win the gold at Paris this is her last she is going to come very hard one q❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Faaaaacts. Her finish Olympics she finished 3rd at trials then went on to win.
Hope so, but age could have caught up with her. In the Janaican trials, she was beaten by 19 year old Tia Clayton. Frankly, this doesn't augur well for SAFP. I hope I'm wrong because she's my favourite sprinter!
@@godsworldorder5565 She was beaten at the 2008 trials as well.....
I made a bold prediction on your channel a couple months ago that Jamaica will sweep the 100m but Forde pull up in the semis
I think that Steven Francis needs to get professional doctors to help these athletes so that they can have longevity. We all saw what happens to Elaine…
He tends to love experimenting and it works up to a point. It’s like holding the athletes hostage…
The same thought you have about Tia, is the same thought people had about Shelly in 2008
Get ur facts straight about what Mr Francis said.he said sherica is in her 2022 form. Don't miss quite t hon man
Ofc Kishane will execute. If Kishane is injury free it's going to be hard to beat him.
11:40 I can't see that logic at all 😂
Don’t worry about that
Jamaica will be on the podium
Don’t underestimate them
You think we done
We just a come
Kishane Thompson fully bad u heard
