Hi Dave, I was on board this time last year and I would 100% go back myself on my own. We met a few solo cruisers on board. This ship is fabulous and great for solo passengers x

We fly on 23rd December for our honeymoon and it will be our second caribbean cruise - excited for the new islands to explore but anxious about Arvia itself. Heard alot of negative reviews, hopefully it lives up to our amazing time on Britannia. Thank you for a great video!
Arvia is incredible, I sail on her again in September. I’m taking my 26 year old with me this time. I live the fact so many dining venues are included . The quays are amazing . Entertainment amazing x have a great time x
Awesome well looking forward to our hols 1st March 24 One thing I’d like to know we land Barbados on. 1st in evening are there any trips you can book for that evening as the sunset trip be handy but p&o page doesn’t let us book anything for the 1st !!! Glad you recommend the Saona island trip as got that booked in the bag already along with stingrays in Antigua St Lucia jeep and catermaran and couple more trips on other islands
Thankyou :-) because of the time difference most people head off to bed as Barbados is 5 hours behind . I booked the 8.30 show and didn’t even make that. As it is 12.30 uk time. Have the best time away it is a fabulous cruise x
Hi - really useful videos on Arvia and ports of call - thanks !! Did Iona this year and was very impressed. We are doing Arvia Caribbean cruise in February 24. Is it best to book excursions (P&O or Independent) at all ports or do some ports have enough to do by just wandering around the area/have beaches nearby ?
That is such a good question. Every port of call is different I guess the only time in the Caribbean I would book a ships excursion is if it was a long excursion and you needed the added security and reassurance of getting back to the ship on time. Eg Saona island in Dominican. Most things you can do independently quite easily :-)
@@ellmania2657 hiya, when you book the pigs the company will give you a few numbers for taxis. I just rang the first number on the list . When you phone ask for a speedboat transfer. The transfers are extra but so worth the cost x
Could you advise on the water taxi to seaforth beach to do the pigs in paradise please. Who did you use and what times do they leave? I have booked the 930 slot when we arrive in November. Thank you
The pigs in paradise team will give you telephone numbers to call on your booking confirmation . I just phoned the first one and booked with him directly . He arranges the time of pick up to coincide with the excursion. He stays with you until the tour is finished then takes you home. Ask when you book for the water taxi as that was so much better than the car transfer over land x
Hi my wife and i are going on a Carribean cruise in January [Britannia] and i was hoping you might be able to help us out,i know we need a form to fill in to enter Barbados but do you know if we need any visas or jabs for anywhere else [ similar cruise as yours].The tour operator seem impossible to reach once you,ve paid up and i,m begining to get a bit stressed
I didn’t need any visas or jabs when I went earlier this year. Check your P&O cruises account and it will also confirm on there for you too. They do say it is guests responsibility to check but as far as I’m aware nothing is needed but for confirmation log into your P&O cruises account and it will confirm to you on there under passport and visa section x check your passport too, your passport expiry date is ten years from the issue date irrelevant of what it states and you need six months left.

Hi Nigel, yes we did. We embarked Friday and booked the trip for the Saturday about 9am start!
