Only ever cruised on p&o during last 13 years of cruising .The buffet never great on any of there ships and very similar. Arvia and Iona good with different food options. Epicurean afternoon tea is always one of our favourites . Main dining you know what you doing to get , food usually good . Sailing on Ventura again 15th June hopefully Nora virus issues sorted. Keep your excellent vlogs coming.
Thank you very much for watching and your kind words, ahh Ventura will always hold a special place in our hearts 🥰 my colleague has just been on and no norovirus 😂😂
£4 for Pringles is expensive, but the record is $9.50! We always use Pringles as a way to judge how expensive things are in the shops on cruise ships. Great Video B's!
Great food tour, I do find the dining on P&O to usually to be good except the buffets! You’re right about the breakfast, it’s hard to get wrong but I think they should switch things up in the MDR. Beach House and Sindhu are both favourites and I’m looking forward to try The Epicurean the next time I’m on one of their ships.
Great video, however I think that the criticism of the Horizon buffet is a little harsh, as we found the choice of food available, to be great. Highlights included the curried dishes (inc vegan/vegetarian) the seafood salad and various roasts. Noodles and gammon was a strange choice, Was all the other nice food finished ? 🙂
Hi Bob. Thank-you for watching and commenting. I always find food guides and reviews and hard to to as it’s very subjective so always happy to have opposite views. This was first day and things were very limited. Rach recently was on Aurura and liked the selection in the buffet. Thanks again for watching and commenting
@@virtualmadworld hi, thank-you for your kind words on our video. Yes to sweeties. Your allowed to take as much soft drinks as you wish, alcohol wise you can bring a ltr of wine or Prosecco pp.
Hi two weeks before on your booking page the website all the restaurants that can be pre booked will come available to book. Sindhu (with £10 deposit) beach house and epicurean. Glass house is only avalable on walk up or virtual Q onboard.
Just had a cruise on Britannia. The service was mostly excellent as usual. The buffet was also good especially the curry and the best kept secret was the chilli pickle opposite the drinks station, it is very spicy but utterly delicious. The best food was from Sindhu, really enjoyed our meal here but then we visited the glass house and had tapas and the meat shearer, this was so good we returned the following night to try other delights of the menu, and we were very well looked after in all the restaurants. Now Epicurean, we visited here on our first night and I was expecting amazing food and it was just ok to poor, I say this with a heavy heart. I had lobster which frankly was totally over and like eating a power ball. The sauces were really bland and every course was just bang average for me it was style over substance and a big disappointment, me fellow travellers agreed and were underwhelmed. Bit of a joke for the price compared to the flavour packed food from Sindhu and the glass house.
That’s a shame as epicurean has always been a great meal for us on other P&O ships however didn’t sample it on Britannia. Thanks for your comments and watching 🙂
I do like your videos, but Tom needs to work on his pronunciation. La VOIX! Can you tell him its pronounced and sounds like LA VWAA, tell him to go and practice!!
Well as Tom will be reading this comment I’m sure he will take it on board, however spoken English and pronunciation do not come easily for all of us! Maybe try him with subtitles instead 🤷♀️

🤣🤣🤣 they cost $10 in our house 🤷♀️ I think when on holiday we tend to forget that things even cost money. Thanks for watching from your cabin ☺️

Gelato is pronounced Juh- laa- tow, just saying.
Yes I need to teach Tom some phonics 🤷♀️, he always struggles with Gelato
