"Let's make a chill beat"
*Proceeds to make a bass out of a snare drum*
deadass lmao
as one does
Nate: This waveform is absolutely perfect
The waveform: ⬜️
I'm putting in my bid for that sample to be the next audio combat sample.
Underrated comment honestly 😂
Square wave...
no matter how far you zoom in, solid block, if defies physics
Technically true.
Nate accidentally reinventing wavetable synthesis be like: S N A R E I N C I D E N T
Granular synthesis!
@freashty would it be granular or wavetable? I don't know much about granular, is there a difference aside from automating the wave position?
@@quadrazard it would be granular. Treating each snare hit as a cycle of a wave is the basis of granular synthesis, which takes momentary chops of a sound (grains) and cycles them at specific frequencies to create a perceived pitch with characteristic overtones
A wave table takes several frames of different waveforms and allows you to parse through them as if you were referencing a different row of a data table
There are some similarities but in general, if you're modeling cycles of the waveform using a function f(x) or a "snapshot" (frame) of the line that function "draws" it's wave table synthesis, and if you're taking a sample of audio and repeating it at Sonic frequencies, it's granular
@freashty cool thanks for the info. I might have to get a granular synth to play with since I've heard how good it is for sound design
@@quadrazard or u can just zoom in on parts you like, copy/paste 1000 times.
"hey Nate, I don't normally make stuff like this, I hope you... Like it." Is one of the hardest predrop vocals I've ever heard.
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING!! i haven't even listened to it literally since last year but i know EXACTLY what you're talking about!!
Nate thaniel producing full festival bangers with the sound of a mango being hit by a sledgehammer
Very cool! - thanks for using my sounds!!!!
this gotta be one of the best songs youve made for audio combat so far
Worth the free twitch prime subscription
This was such a banger with the glitches. Hype AF. 🎉
The autotuned fart was the best, imo lol
really was the dumbest moment in nba history
Ong
Bro that weird breathing thing worked so well, giga creative
and he hit it with the phew phew phew haha
Eliminate is megamid indeeed
@@lemmesmash 🤣

"the snare roll incident"
you're good. you should consider a career in this
Ikr. I wish he would actually release some songs.
I take it as Irony joke xD
Nates' the ONLY producer I've ever heard turn a snare into a 909 synth. Prodigy vibes
Turning those snares kinda into a strange synth was so unexpected and so cool, I love how it turned out.
Also, its waveform was 👌
My father once told me about the great snare incident of 2023, I thought it was a made up story to stop me from having my own snare incident, but after seeing this video I completely understand.
as soon as i heard the snare abomination chord i knew this would be HEAT
You know it's going down when twitch chat starts going bat shit crazy with the neons
genuenly would love that beat to be turned into a full song, sounds so fucking dope
This beat goes hard. Tonight, millions will die.
Not true; they took precautions
that escalated very quickly.
**SAFETY PRECAUTIONS TAKEN**
There's something so satisfying and heartwarming about seeing a cat be so relaxed with his owner
I absolutely love how these tracks keep on getting more stupid and abstract yet intriguing with every video.
Nathan.
This is unironically the best beat you've ever made. Even outside Audio Combat.
Like I'm legitimately floored.
I've never laughed so hard at a snare roll incident what musical comedy
It was an honor as always❤
Ha voltem
Deep nutz
The snare roll incident was sounding like that ADHD trap from a while back
Nate uses all of his meme energy to make these songs as banger as possible. Wish I could have a separate eliminate account on tidal just for these songs.
This would fit PERFECTLY in a 140/tearout mix I'll be doing in June. Get it finished PLEASE
this beat almost killed me.
Yeah the snare into a bass journey was painful but the end result was worth it
Thankfully I took safety precautions
10:28 Always loved a good stick-o-butter waveform
This stream was the first one Nate had where I was able to catch it live because I was off of work that day, and I'm really glad I did.
the snare incident almost killed me 😆☠ Michael stubs his toe on the final sprint of a half marathon was gold!
So many songs in this AC with some crazy swing groove. Dope as heck
sampling the entire Snare Roll Incident, I'll never need to design a reese or acid again lmao
Nate: chill beat
The beat: definitely not chill
at first he was playing with the snare roll like wtf?!but somehow turns out to be a dope bass snare fill of some sorts
25:46 i love this one 😭😭😭
Never knew molten aluminum could get me in my feels
4:04 when the autobots discover beatboxing
I don't usually watch music production videos to laugh but this was hilarious
Man this was the video that made me check out your whole catalogue. This was a treat big ups to you
It's honestly crazy how fun this is to watch
The sound already has sum dubby lead vibes, can’t wait to see how it turns out!
i like how last week you just made RATATA and this week you just made Rumble
Oh man, the throwback to the MJ marathon sprint was great. Totally forgot about it.
the micheal jackson submission was golden😂
I've watched this video wayyyy too many times, it has to be one of the best songs you've made
All the memes and stuff aside, you are an insanely talented producer.
26:44 damn. 🔥🔥🔥 that 1/2 note redrop. 👏
I vibed to all the submissions shown here. Somebody please make a full track, this AC is gold
That "snare roll incident" was so an epic moment to watch
This makes me giggle like a mad scientist
The snare roll incident transcended me into to the next dimension
I cannot control myself anymore, that "sample" you made in the middle killed me, and the finishing blow was the caption "Dubstep producers when they hear the worst noise imaginable"
the snare roll incident had me fucking dying bro
love the long video nate!!!
Frict, when are you going to make a full version of your entry? That shit was bangin brother
This beat is bananas! Hope you build it out into a full track
Dude this is one of the best ones you’ve made in audio combat
okay I didn't expect it to end up that good
Nate is a genius
I don’t know why but the winning thumbnail gag really got me
Damn there are some fucking SICKKKK submissions this week. I have no idea how he was able to narrow it down lol
I spit my drink out laughing when I watched the snare roll incident.
This goes so hard. It sounds like how the cybergoth rave gif looks
the michael jackson stubs his toe is an audio combat CLASSIC dude
Surreal Man 😮😮, você é muito bom!
The new editor did his job well, felt like the usual naterinho (which good)
oh and the beat was slammin
The mid-end part of your song has a Getter vibe
I love these videos so much
Definitely the best so far! Sounds kindof like an afterparty Imanu track 🎉
I'm surprised he didn't notice how that sample can sound like the infamous shart sample
Swedish house mafia did a similar thing with a drum sample for their song “One.” That was sick.
The gods of flow blessed Nate tf up today.
favorite minimalist producer
These are perhaps the highest quality submissions of all time
damn ngl the first submission was 🔥 af!
It sounds like the Houndeye in Half Life.
this one hits
Sick staccato work.
This episode broke my brain. thank you
Ah, finally the nate ASMR vid I've been waiting for
9:16 - that part of the song when Aphex Twin gets *really out there*
16:35 Reminds me of the little guy from Invader Zim
Look I haven't even finished the video yet but smle's "I hope you *BOMP* lIkE iT" made my pants extremely tight.
I laughed for the entire drum roll segment XD
That outro song is a banger, I must have this.
the snare incident had me ugly crying laughing so hard
As soon as I heard the original video I thought of tearout gun bass sounds
Dope. Gj sir
Sick snare roll. I lov extratone.
actual fire
My man had fun this time
perfect waveform
Ah yes. The Virtual Riot experience
*Turning literally anything into wobs*
"I'm a bit of a silly little guy sometimes."
-Nate, 2023
Full Solid Rectangle Waveform thats the name of my next project thank you nate
I literally cried laughing at the snare incident when we get to see the waveform lmaooo
You always seem to be original and hilarious
Hardest episode this season, dayum
Dude Smle freaking nailed it!! God dayum!!! @18:13
God damn, that's some quality producing.
Nonexistent absolutely needs to finish that track and release it
unbelievable
Holy smokes 🔥🔥🔥 i missed the last couple streams due to still being at work, BUT this track you did, wow! 🙌🏽 always a good time in chat on the streams and thankful for YT channel to catch up on what I missed on the live.
