You are not supposed to force it on. You remove the motor and take out the two screws on the front. This allows you to slide the heatsink on and then you put the front plate back on. This is from the Traxxas website.
I bought that same cooling system from Amazon it worked for the price but i still experienced over heating unless I ran at night. Upgrade those bs plastic fans to aluminum ones and ur in for a party
@@QuadBossElite your welcome I hope it helps. If you're looking for a higher top speed change the spur and pinion gear and pair that with a 65c 6500mah and ur rc will buggy and explode a few tires
@@RcBlazer-Racer That’s weird, I’m sorry this happened to you. Like I said everything was plug and play no hardware was used. I don’t know what happened with yours.
You didn’t show how you got the heat sink on the motor. Did you just force in on?
It clips on the motor yes push it in

@@StarFox31when I do that, the fans cover the whole for the motor screw, I think you just force it on
@@RcBlazer-Racer No you do not force it on. Again, read on the Traxxas website as I stated.
@@StarFox31 that’s for a different motor fan, I forced it on, it just clipped, it’s like a clip, so for the one on Traxxas you don’t, this one, yes
Should the fans blow up or blow down?
The fans should blow down

Sound rad thanks for the info
Where do you plug it in?
I plugged it into the control box under the Servo
Even when I put the fans on the motor the screw to screw the motor back isn’t able to go in, can someone help me?
The fans I used just fit right over the motor, I never had to take the motor out.
@@QuadBossElite oh, and the fans didn’t work, different channels, the wires are right, so just getting the one off of traxxas
@@RcBlazer-Racer did you get the same kit as I did
@@QuadBossElite yes, same colors too

My concern is the wires rubbing on the heat sink
