Synopsis: Alert is a procedural drama about the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Persons’ Unit (MPU). I've seen a similar plot somewhere in another series, sadly I don't remember which one it was anymore. There was also a missing child, who returned home after many years, with another child who were distrustful of the long lost sibling. They also didn't have DNA testing in that universe :D in these series the second child of the family had something to do with their sibling going missing, and thus knew the sibling couldn't possibly be returning. Judging by the end of the 2nd episode something similar is going to happen in Alert...

I made it to the 10 minute mark of the first episode then I just had to switch off, it was that bad, a combination of bad acting and even worse writing. So knowing how things are done at fox, it will last for 10+ seasons!

I had no intention of watching this entire season. I only wanted to see if this was their missing son or not.
Seriously you are not going to get a DNA test done when you think he is your missing kid. You just take him into your home. I mean they are detectives. Why the unnecessary drama
My husband said they were both adopted but they should still have the original DNA on file so they know if it is the right one or not.
The acting was terrible...the story was stupid..I mean this characters made desicions and suddenly they changed their mind

This is one of the worst series I have seen, is so predictable.
The ending wasn't predictable to me. The main characters divorced relationship was beyond annoying to me. That fiance put up with a lot of mess!
