Hey thanks for the video, I have a question: my wife unfortunately put it under tap water to wash it :( when I realized I immediately disassembled carefully tried to soak the water and let it dry the small remaining things. What do you think will it cause any harm in the long run ?
Oh nooo 😱😅 Try to wick up as much water as you can! I would go ahead and even remove the entire burr set just to access everything. If you notice that there is anything wrong with the grinder after it is completely dried you can purchase replacement burr sets but that’s it for available parts I’m afraid. Good luck and hopefully it works!

@@TheBasicBarista Hey, thank you for your help! Well, I think the mechanisms are similar on both grinders, so I just cleaned and lubricated the central shaft of my C2 with a thin layer of coconut oil on a paper towel. I'm curious too. After a few early use after I bought C2, I found the grinded coffee smell too oily for me and I really hate it. So I found that smell may be from the lube at main axis so I decided to wash it out. I really hate the lubricant smell, I'll try some coconut oil.

Hey Dheeraj, Thanks for watching my video, fantastic to hear you like it. Cheers for the feedback regarding volume of music and we will take it on board for future videos. For AeroPress it doesn't matter too much about grind size compared to pour over coffee as this is an immersion brew method and you determine how long your brew goes for because you can plunge after 1 minute or 3 minutes. In saying this start off at 20 clicks, try it finer and finer until you start to taste bitterness and then work your way back through the coarser settings. your best tool is your taste so getting familiar with the coffee and tasting it using very coarsely ground beans & very finely ground beans is also a great technique to practice.
