When it comes to buying a car in India we often get confused whether to buy an SUV or a Sedan. In this video I have explained 9 reasons why SUVs are better than Sedans..
Please note that this is my opinion and yours can differ. But I have tried to be as neutral as I can.

Sedan is much more comfortable, elegant to look at, more economical and better manoeuvrability on road and much faster👍
SUVs are not meant for common masses like me. The reason: poor mileage and expensive to maintain. 165mm is the standard ground clearance that will suffice. Why do I need high and tall boy cars, when they give me body roll and when they put a huge hole in my pocket. You simply need a good handling car, easy drive, which does not tire you too much. It should have a soft clutch, punchy brake and safe chasis, at least 4 star. That's all you need in a car. Obvioulsy, these things are for a common man like me...For big guns, they need an SUV, loud music, flashing lights ... and the bigger they go, better it is for them...😂
But for tall drivers SUV is very suitable but it's true that it takes toll on the mileage.Soft clutch and brakes could be found in ecosport though Ecosport is not an SUV as per the definition.

Go and buy Tata Mini Bus that is most best option for 7 foot tall person also
But for some speed breakers 165 mm ground clearance is not enough.

My father purchased Verna 2023 with ground clearance of 175mm. It has everything an SUV has, including ADAS and is much safer, better mileage. Earlier I was sad that why didn't we purchased Creta SUV. But now I know that it was the right choice

I think an even bigger reason is how you are seated. Even if it is compact suv, the position is commanding and view of the landscaping is enhanced.

The car behind you is Amaze which is also not a proper sedan. Its a compact sedan, fake sedan length is upto 4mtr. C segment mid size sedans are longer. And luxury sedan like Superb,Camry are longer than Safari,fortuner etc

In Indian roads "Cruise control" is of no use. Sun Roof also is of no utility, but in India people are crazy over it. It is dangerous children are peeping out of sun roof when in speed. Sudden braking or any accident, will lead to grave injury. Police should fine such behaviour.
@nityarai3589 sir in most cases cruise control is of no use but you can use the feature on expressway that too very carefully because that makes you do nothing while driving which could lead to lapse in concentration.
Yes I agree sunroof should not be used to come out while driving... You should only come out when the car is not in motion and you want some pics. And yes that somehow reduces the safety.

Ishana sir/madam to begin with I am confused regarding your gender so I addressed both the genders.
If your Amaze is going well and it is not asking for too much keep going with it. Cars are always depreciating assets. According to me, you should never be spending if it isn't required.
But if you really want to change I want the following details
1. Your Budget
2. Your priority in terms of features, safety, mileage etc
3. Body type like sedan, SUV or hatchback
4. Fuel Type
Hot take : The most useless reason people give for suv over sedan is ground clearance. India had much terrible roads a decade ago, and guess what we had the low slung hatchs, and most sedans. We have better roads now and trend will continue, only people buying suv are who cannot radiat their tall stature from their personality to sit higher in on a red light, a labour in buldozer is probably higher. Suvs ,the real ones have their place and they excell in those but for 99% of people that place never arrives. Either you are smart enough to not put your live and your vehicle in danger driving in shitty terrains or you let the skilled taxi driver do their job for probably everything less than your car's worth. Or you are stupid enough to take your so called suv in shitty terrain and get the car wrecked 9/10 times. Don't even get me started on 2wd hatchs on complain that companies claim to be suvs.
Hume to train lena hai . Loan ke liye apply v kiye hai. Usme koi problem nahi 😊😊

SUV me bade chakke hote hain, jaise Scorpio me hain, jiska fayda road ke kharab patches pe smoothly nikalne me hota hai. Tyre ka profile bada ho to cushion effect deta hai.
Baleno, i20 me bhi 16 inch ke chakke aa rhe hain but low profile tyres hote hain. Isliye unme suv wala effect nai milega.

Richa madam if sedans are not comfortable then go for an SUV. There is no harm in choosing a vehicle as per your requirement.
If you are confused among too many cars do let me know what those cars are and I will try to suggest the best among those.
Sir am looking for SUV - Automatic. Kindly suggest budget is Max 15l.
Sir there are many options... Kiger, Magnite, Venue, Nexon, Elevate, Sonet, XUV300 to name a few.
But most of these cars come with AMT automatic which is the poorest form of automatic transmission.
You can buy Brezza (Torque Converter) which has good mileage, Venue (DCT) or Nexon with tank like build Fearless Plus PR DCA under 4 metres.
If you want a car like Creta Seltos (4300 mm segment) you can buy Elevate as it has CVT and will give you a feel of a bigger car with more space. Other cars of this segment in Automatic are above 15 on road. You can also check MG Astor Super CVT which will come under 15 lakhs. There are other cars in this segment but you will not get features as they are basically base models. And I don't suggest aftermarket work on cars. Don't buy Kiger or Magnite.
Thar and Jimny are there but these cars are not meant for family purposes.
So the final 5 are
Under 4000 mm
1. Brezza
2. Venue
3. Nexon
Under 4300 mm
4. Elevate VX CVT
5. Astor CVT (consider this also as you last priority)

@Vijendra sir I feel the same. Atleast the definition should have been like the laden ground clearance should be 170mm. Because 170 mm isn’t enough. This is probably because brands get motivated and doesn’t make their too high which eventually affects the body roll.
@@autoinfotech I think it's better to mention unladen only for the purpose of ease of understanding but your point is the correct way to measure the ground clearance which should be in the spec sheet
@vijuvlogs sir true… Actually I wanted the laden weight to be mentioned because unladen ground clearance may vary with the tuning of suspension. If a car has soft suspension then its laden ground clearance will be way less than that of a car with stiff suspension even if their ground clearance is same in unladen condition.
They can specify a certain weight that at 250 kgs the laden ground clearance is this much mm.
@@autoinfotech no no I am only talking about the ground clearance figures for any particular car.. suspension can be any so that the customer is aware of the actual laden ground clearance of an SUV/crossover before buying it

Honda City is Honda's evergreen car, so it should have something extra so that people don't ignore City completely.
The sense of space feels more when you don't have something right above your head rather than something in front of your legs. Though it's just a feeling, just like beige colour interiors feel more spacious than black interiors even if the space is the same.
