    For nearly twenty years, I drove into and around London. After watching your video, I remembered how stressful it was. Well done for not allowing the stress to affect your driving. I love watching and hearing about your journeys.

      Thank you Derek 😀 Twenty years in London? 😳 Wow... I must say I enjoy it so far but not when the traffic is like it was on that day. That was horrible.
      I'm glad you enjoy the vlogs so far 😊
      Thanks for watching

    Why does your company no use rear steer trailers for these sorts of jobs.

    • @TruckerFloz
      @TruckerFloz  Год назад

      We don't have any as far as I know and to be honest it was first time we would've needed one. I think after this they will probably get some but who knows 🤷
      Thanks for watching Roy 😀

    Wow. What an exciting action packed video..hats off to your colleague who got stuck for 4 hours...at least he didn't damage anything..its all down to the council on that one to replace everything at there cost 🙂🙂. And as for you floz....where do I start 😉 😀...just 1 major road closure in London and that's it...its a stalemate...no ones fault 🤷‍♂️. But at least you kept the customer upto date..Nice to see H E paynes yard. Which is now WS . I've always liked the fleet of H E payne. Just off the A1 if I'm correct....keep doing what you do best floz...thats keeping your viewers entertained...you make us smile always....take care my friend...hope family is well.

    • @TruckerFloz
      @TruckerFloz  Год назад +2

      Thank you Jason 😀 Yes the Paynes yard is just of A1 and they are part of WS for some time now. We use it like a hub between Barnsley and London. By the way that second trailer I got for next day... I went to deliver it at 8am and waited for 5h (didn't even take my chains off) in that unloading bay until they've decided they can't lift the load due to high winds 😳 so off I went back to Barnsley with it. Easiest job ever 😂😂

    Back in the day they used to take massive transformers through the middle of stafford, police cars and helicopter escorted, a huge operation. They got halfway down the weston road and found since last time the council had build a new central reservation with barriers. Cue lots of swearing and several hours of angle grinders.

    The public really love you when you are delivering the things they need to the stores, like food and big screen TV's etc. But by christ, hold them up for 15 seconds when you are struggling to manoeuvre an artic in a tight space; and you are the worlds's worst bastard imaginable! The best ones are the 'macho' men who, despite never even having seen the inside of a cab, are quick to tell you how easily they could do it if 'they' were driving! I have had occasion to call one or two of these types out, myself during my illustrious and somewhat chequered career! Funny how they tend to piss off really quickly when you climb out of the cab and offer the truck keys to them!
    Anyway, the lad got it sorted ... good for him 👍. Once again, nice interesting video Floz. Keep em' coming. Stay safe and have a good un'. All the best mate!

    • @TruckerFloz

    A common idea that vehicles go out the same way as they come in. They don't, it's more noticeable with trucks but even cars actually don't. Imagine the shit an American sized truck would have in this country. Our trucks are the size they are for a reason! Another example of why non truckers shouldn't try to plan routes for trucks.
