- Following the common thread of my channel, here again a world-famous production, the title song from the movie “Titanic”.
For Céline Dion, it is her most successful piece to date and is actually the second best-selling single by a female artist worldwide. There are a few stories about this song - but especially in connection with the previously mentioned huge success for Celine Dion, I would only like to say that she initially vehemently refused to sing the title and only after intensive persuasion from her husband, who also manages her, agreed to the recording.
Mixed with a pinch of humor, at this point, even as a not-quite-old old white man, I just say...women...🙄
Anyway... I've enjoyed playing the song every now and then, although it's usually instrumental, since there are rarely any singers in the business who have this song in their repertoire.
